How to get razor bumps 101

Not with that generic razor

Good advice is to use an Alum block and massage all the areas you shave with it, it works wonders to stop irritation of the skin.

You need to shave with the grain first, it's an unnecessary step. As long as your hair is trimmed down very short you can just go straight against the grain with a cartridge razor and it will come right off. As long as you are not using a cheap crappy throw away razor of course. After shaving against the grain feel around your head for any rough spots and go over those areas again, sometimes they can be in different directions depending on which way the hairs grow on that part of your head. So to get it smooth shave against the grain in those spots by just wetting that spot with some water and touching up. It's pretty simple.

I got a big bald patch last fall behind one of my ears so I told the lady to match the patch but leave the top. I don't know what kind of hair style this is called, but I love it, and have gotten quite a few compliments on it. the alopecia areata is not thyroid related according to the blood test, it just is... sometimes I shave 2x a day bc it doesn't feel completely smooth at the nape of the neck and the hairline next to the top hairs... thanks for your video.
