I have a 2013 Chrysler 200 and was told there were 2 thermostats, can't you also just disconnect the negative wire from the block under the hood. This car have been a pain in my a$$ and nothing seems to be easy. Good video though.

Can a new thermostat go bad. I had just put a new one in my 2012 jeep wrangler a week ago and a new radiator. Yesterday we drove 2 hours no problems. Well we was pickig up our son at work i left thee jeep on it spit out transmission fluid this morning took my wife to work and it overheated just smoked for maybe 10 seconds and stoppped. I didnt see any transmission fluid like last night or antifreeze. I grabbed the top hose it was warm i didnt check the thermostat hose but the radiator cap was not hot at all whish it had been before. Someone said might be the new thermostat just went bad what do you think about it? Great video and i subscribed

If both hoses are cold...could this still be the thermostat...the gauge is sporadic...says its overheated when its not...hot air only comes once in a while and then goes back cold...overflow tank shows low but if i take the cap off...i hear the pressure release and when i put it back on the antifreeze fills back up in the overflow tank...help!!!

My car seems hot upper radiator hose swelled up like a Ballon replaced it the thermostat is on lower hose 02 envoy but temp never goes past 200? But can feel bogging little after driving while as if we're hot ?Motor smells feels hotter then normal ?

Would you say it would make the coolant boil in the reservoir as well? My oil pressure gets almost to the H but when I turn my heat on it goes down to half and doesn’t go up or lower then the half way point

I have overheating problem when stop and go traffic but no issues while driving on highway. Fan is working, no leaks or noise from water pump, just replaced the engine coolant temp sensor, could thermostat be the culprit? No dashboard lights...
