I searched the internet for a tutorial for my very first acrylic painting, and decided on this one. And it turned out pretty good, if I (and my family) do say so ourselves!

How your brush is gliding so softely

I'm a beginner, and I've done a few drawings /paintings (oil pastel, colored pencils, and watercolor pencils, and acrylics) and the one I'm about to start next is going to be similar this. It's gonna be a sunset in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I live in Virginia, but I'll be using a photo from a friend of mine in North Carolina who posted it on Facebook. The mountains in this painting look just like the Blue Ridge Mountains. I wish I could post the photo on here, but unfortunately, I can't. 😥

My sunset sky turned out too dark to put a sun on, so I went for clouds instead. I did a bad job! Oh well. :)

What size canvas do I need to buy?
