Myth buster: Yes, it still works. This video is correct. If it doesn't work for you, my guess is you may miss one important step – set up your transcribe and publish it. It didn't work for me until I go back to my videos and republish my English transcribe. And of course you need the yt:cc=on tag as described in the video. Big thank you to the author.
