Tactical squads and a predator I can understand but a relic Land Raider, venerable dreadnoughts and Terminator squads? Especially given the absurdity that the Guard forces already stationed have not one but two Baneblade super-heavy tanks?

You have to either pull some serious strings or be in dire need to requisition even 1 such relic.

Russ Battle Tanks and Chimera Personnel Carriers I can understand, workhorse frontline vehicles that while valuable are a staple of heavy Guard deployments.

Thing about Warhammer is that even the Gaurdsmen themselves are badass then you throw in space marines and dreadnoughts come on now that's doing too much, starwars in comparison is nick jr😂😂😂

well idk both armies are formidable forces and I know as Star Wars fan that the Imperials in Warhammer had faced worst things than simple battle droids, but it seems those clones were in a huge disadvantage since the imperials had a better fire power and the AT-TE is not exactly an anti-tank vehicle but still was a good thing to see

40K's Imperium of Man is an empire that spans a region of the Milky Way. Star Wars' Galactic Empire is a Galactic Empire - spanning the entire Galaxy. Star Wars Imperial troops (granted these are Clone Wars troops but whatever) are armed with energy weapons ideal against armor; they may also ride in vehicles protected by force fields and may be supported by unlimited numbers of androids.

Space Marines don't have force fields, they have limited ammunition, and the Imperium can only field very small numbers of robots - and no androids at all.

But then again it's all Rule of Cool. Two totally different Universes with different in-universe rules.

Did anybody saw that space marine getting crushed by its own tank

Pretty sure a platoon of ultra marines could handle some clones, especially if they have armored units it would be way overkill

Ngl it's really dumb that you think the republic would send out light tanks in a forward assault as the spearhead, thats not how the republic functions, in this kind of engagement rhe ATTE would be using there heavy gun to obliterate enemy armor, those damn things have crippled war ships, they have a way more bite then anything the imperium here is fielding, saber tanks would be on the flanks to wipe up those that get near, them a rapid assault of clone troopers and ATRT would push through into the city itself, no clones would be in those open top transports because they are meant for moving men and material behind your lines, ATTE are already capable of carrying your entire assault force, with gunships being used to deliver more if needed, these 2 forces are nowhere near comparable in any way, a single ATTE in flat terrain like this would destroy a dozen lemun russ and the bane blade with ease

This battle might be worse for the star wars universe. Their ar.or is meant to resist energy weapons. The space Wolves tricked a machine race by using their own energy weapons. The moment the machines reconfigured themselves for that weapon type, the Wolves pulled out their bolters and wrecked those machines.
