Car dealer cant sell someone a bad car, because the customer will bring it back and complain until they get the issue resolved. A customer CAN trade a bad car in and the car dealer cant go to the customer and complain to get the issue resolved. Who's the least ethical?

Hay I had a question

I had bought a 2016 Subaru cross track from Rich Ford and Albuquerque New Mexico and noticed many things afterwards that they were able to hide from me. They were in Plainview then I was in a hurry dude other circumstances long story short my car has a few issues like it’s leaking oil where the filter is a nuts tightened all the way down , I was told possibly PVC valve but I replaced that and I also noticed on the other side there’s also a leak I’ve only had the car a couple months I only drive it a few miles a day if that

It's years since I did a HG replacement on a car. As I remember, it wasn't too difficult a job. Is it a lot more tricky on modern engines? Am asking because I'm wondering whether to replace it on my 120K-mile Nissan as routine/preventative maintenance.

Great tips, I think you mentioned a multi-layer head gasket? I used a metal multi-layer metal head gasket on my turbocharged Mustang, Kinitics I think manufacturer? It this an option

My Forrester was leaking oil on top of the engine, I used some dye and found that the oil was coming from the oil pressure sender.

You cover a lot of 05-09 outback 2.5(I) series how about the 3.0 H6 series. I need insight on a similar video you have done with the prop shaft. Mine is making a shake at hill inclines and up until 4th gear. Any ideas? I have checked the ATF dex 3 fluid and the motor is strong. I'm going to check the 75w-90 front differential fluid. And go from there.

Those people who make a business out of buying cars they don't need, to sell them to people that do need them, at inflated prices, aren't "businessmen", they're peddlers & parasites. People with no appreciable skills of their own, who contribute nothing to society, they just live by parasitizing everyone else's labor and skills.

If I had watched this video before I bought my Subaru Forester I would have caught all of this. After 1 month of owning it I had all these symptoms. I ended up buying a whole brand new OEM long block and pretty much everything else and rebuilt it. Very good video!

Your are the GOD of Subarus I know I go by your every rule! Although another thing believe it or not that can pool oil on top is a oil pressure sensor/switch, my moms 2012 Outback SOHC EJ25 just hit 125,000 miles and head gaskets went out like my 2008 went at 110k. Anyways about 7k miles after I changed her head gaskets she came by I did a once over and notice a nice pool of oil. Turns out the sensor in front of the EJ25 stamp can leak a considerable amount of oil if not looking at your engine enough. Just wanted to add that, but like I said your the Subaru GOD! Have a good day everyone!

My Subie is in the shop right now getting his head gaskets done again at 215,000 miles. I got combustion pressure that would keep my overflow full, not the other way. I think I caught this early. I've always pulled over quickly when I would see the temperature gauge rise; I'm a gauge watcher from being a helicopter pilot in the past. I never had the pressure that your poor car has. This is as usual a very informative video. I am learning tons of info! Thanks!

Thanks! I went to see a 2008 Forester with 145K miles. The owner said it leaked some oil. I opened the oil fill cap and noticed it had a little coolant in there. I passed on it as they wanted pretty much premium for private party sale and I would have to pay $$$ for a head gasket replacement. Thanks for your videos!

If the car starts and you are aloud to start it (if they don’t let you start it red flag) start it pull the oil fill cap off if there’s smoke/no pressure when you put you hand over it it’s another good sign there’s something really wrong with it

The issue with top rad hose being super hot and lower hose drastically cooler is my problem. I am worried my engine is going to overheat and cause big problems.
My question is, is this only caused by blown head gasket or could it be something else.
Faulty tstat? If there is an air lock preventing tstat from opening can I burp the system to release air pocket. Is air in the system only caused by blown head gasket?
Wondering if I should just replace the tstat. 2015 subaru forester 2.5L auto. 180,000kms.
Please help!

I absolutely loved my Subaru Outback once it was repaired. I'm actually watching your video because I'm considering another used Subie after my Nissan was destroyed.
When I got my Outback, the headgasket was blown, and the shady seller successfully fooled me. I looked for fluid leaks. I looked for signs of exhaust in the coolant, and coolant in the oil. What this jackbutt did change all the fluids, cleaned the block, and stick it in the showroom. I was a bit naive to think putting it in the show room was a good sign.
