I once met Mark Batres while in line at a Taco Shop, 2019, Salinas Spartan Course. I asked if he ever ran Spartan before lol. It was my first race.

i would rather watch more obstacles and not just running backs. very annoying not able to see, how athletes are passing all these obstacles

Not a very good event. Without more loaded carries or strength-based obstacles, these races are wayyyyy too biased towards the running specialists.

One thing about spartan race. They sure have become lazy when it comes to course design. Embarrassing!

This isn't me talking sh*t, but going back to pipe lair, many athletes touched a foot on the grass prior to hitting the bell, some big names too, not cool.
