Silverstone is where the title fight really began to heat up between Hamilton and Verstappen

My first season! Little did I know my expectations for this sport would go soo high in a year.

In fact, it was cosmic justice after the injustice in Sliverstone

Hamiton was robbed!!!

Hamilton is the real winner of this season and the people, everyone has that feeling that lewis was robbed of the 8th title not the one who had FIA Masi on his knees and begged him to put himself back behind the real champion on the final lap.

This season got me going on F1 hard.. I still think Max would've caught Hamilton and passed him even if the back markers were in the way.. they would've moved over.. max had the tire advantage

New kid in the block challenged the status quo

Such a shame that basic rules couldn’t be followed. Apart the greatest sporting injustice of all time, where the independent referee decided to change rules and favour 1 driver over the other 19 it was a great season.

Why mercedes is always so afraid of losing track position? they did the same mistake at Abu Dhabi 2021, Hungary 2021, Turkey 2021. Most recetly USA 2023.

While i can understand merc and ham fans feeling about being robbed, they are only looking at the last lap of the last race.... and only at Masi's 2nd controversial order.
-his first controversial order @ lap 56=cars may not overtake (while track was cleared and drivers were asking why they cant overtake safetycar yet)
-mercedes being allowed to use 13 power unit swaps instead of 6 and just getting a grid penalty while they crank the engine up to 100% so they only last 2 races
-lewis getting 10 sec penalty for almost murdering a rival while a few races later vettel gets DQ for having 13ml less fuel than he should have for a clear sample.
-lewis not having to give back position when he gained advantage from going off track in last race
-bottas @ hungary wasnt on purpose, im sure... but that was hella lucky for hamilton cuz of that crash, 2 mclarens 2 redbulls and thnx to stroll also a ferrari was taken out.
-baku ... 5 laps to go, verstappen leading the race and his car is the 4th car to have a blown tire cuz pirelli messed up with minimum tire pressure allowance.
-verstappen and hamilton i believe in qatar or UAE with the 'rearend'-'brakecheck' because lewis didnt want to pass him while verstappen was obligated to let him pass.. i understand lewis not wanting to switch there cuz verstappen would immediately get the position back because of DRS, but verstappen HAS to give it back and FIA should make better rules like you cant pass someone whom you just gave position back within 1 lap or something.

all that happend in that season, so there was never a question if max deserved the title... he was doing better up till silverstone even WITH baku DNF from pirelli.
thanks to silverstone, mercedes went all in for hamilton and gave him overclocked engines that fried after 2 races cuz the only penalty is 10 or 20 gridplaces and a driver like lewis or max in the fastest car on the grid gets from p10 to p2 in 15 laps and from p20 to p3 in 30 laps....

Its been almost 2 years and im watching this. The season was fire from start to finish. The finish wasnt the best, but chaos after chaos

Without a doubt, one of the best seasons of all time

One of the best seasons of modern F1 for sure, right up there with 2012, but I can't shake that feeling of disappointment and bitter by how it ended. Now, I'm not trying to stir up any controversy or bring up that old tired argument again, but what Michael Masi did absolutely taints what was set to be a season for the ages, regardless of the outcome. If Hamilton or Verstappen win the title the right way, this season is one of the best ever, no doubt about it.
