As a wedding shooter in the Uk and having just got to grips with my set up 2x new A2's to get them to work with the new X2d and the old 907x from Hass (tricky start but in the end I have ended up with something incredible that is very easy and manageable) I would to dearly love to meet the photographer who needs 100 groups!!!! I use 1 group and I have 2 A2's and and an A1x!!!
ОтветитьI'm assuming I can't use a sync cable with this?
ОтветитьWhat’s the backpack you gave there?
ОтветитьI used Godox and missed so many shots!! Since I changed to Profoto (I have 3xA10) I don't miss any shots and flashes always works smoothly and without misfiring. I don't have worry about 1/2, 1/4 or 1/16 or 1/64 silly numbers anymore :)) Profoto is a winner in my wedding photography !!
ОтветитьHonestly I love profoto but their pricing is just always over the top. Really love my two b1x lights. But have had multiple A1 lights that have total failed where the flash tube blows or the base that connects to the camera gets lose and ends up cracking the base off. With so many cheaper good alternatives these days hard to justify the price of the A2.
ОтветитьHaving something that is light and mobile at the expense of power, sort of defeats the point. I'm usual trying to outpower the sun when I'm "out and about", I don't think at 100W/s it will be of any use unless you get really close, which then means it may encroach the frame. Thus necessitating taking 2 shots one with the background and one with the subject and light and having to combine them in PS to remove the light.
ОтветитьGodox ad100 wins!
ОтветитьThank you for review. But I think it is too expensive, I can buy 4 x Good AD100pro for 1000 euro. They are even more compact.
ОтветитьProfoto following Godox, how embarrassing for them. I'd drop the cash into moving over if the new PF trigger was small and compact, but it's big and shiny, the opposite of what it should be
Ответитьso profoto basically released ad100 :)
it is their revenge for v1.
Would like to see how well it can hold with a 3’ OCF soft box.
ОтветитьHow does this compare to, say, Nikon speed lights in terms of output? If i'm not mistaken, speed lights tend to use guide numbers to measure flash output. Not sure how to compare the two units of measurement.
Excited that this is compatible with Leica!
