what is the distribution of the odds if u follow perfect basic strategy paired with card counting? is it just the half percent advantage u mentioned or is it even above that (Player 50.5% vs 49.5% Casino) ?
I am curious how long it takes for a casino to notice u follow those instructions perfectly and are there ways to fool them and suggest you are not counting cards by doing alternative plays that dont follow perfect basic strategy or alike ( even if it slightly decreases your odds it might be worth it to not get kicked out before you are able to profit?).

All I learned is that gambling is a scam.

The stat gaming commissions and the hedge funds that own the casinos and commissioners have tipped the games so far away that even real good players now count on luck as the only edge. it pisses me off because they don't even mention ": dont touch online casinos. and the brick and mortar casino has tables with a minimum of 15 $ so what's the point? i d'ont have 50 k stashed away to go play them at the casino, because with small amounts i'm not bankrolled for 15 $ minimum.. and the casinos know that before offering 15 $ minimum. better cool off and read a good novel, than trouble myself packing, driving therein the hopes i wilL sit at a -0.5% EV game

Thats weird, they doubled down on a soft 9 but on their website, for an Ace 8 against a dealer showing 5 it says to stand. I guess both work.

How would strategy change if the Dealer only receives one card not 2? I Know basic Strategy is basically the same but anchors play a larger role. The play on the table can dictate what the dealers 2nd card will be.

3:2 means you get 3 dollars to every 2 you bet. So 1 and a half is your running

Just finished a cruise on RCL. Good news: they had a $10 min and a $15 min table.

I thought it odd they would only allow even money for a blackjack against a dealer’s ace up card if you were on the $15 table.

Perfect strategy may not help you win more, but will help you lose less. 😊

Card counting takes a lot of work, but seems it could be well worth it once mastered.

In the meantime, if you are a recreational player, using basic strategy AND a proper betting strategy can increase your winnings rapidly while at the same time decrease your losses. The theory behind betting systems (money management) is the casino is going to win more hands than you will. If, over time, you play the same $10 bet every hand, you will eventually lose your all of your money.

Say, if you win two hands in a row ($20), your next bet would go to $15. If you win that, you are up $35. If you lost all three hands, you are down $30.

It definitely allows one to play longer; and can quickly add up to big wins if you hit a small winning streak of three or four hands.

Of course, it all depends on the day and the deal. I had times in Biloxi where I slit aces, got a ten on each and pushed when the dealer drew a five-card 21 —I ran from the casino that day.

Of course, I’m not superstitious; unless I’m having bad luck. 😊
