Optical converter 5.1 Optical to RCA connection

Excuse me, but did you just plug them all in to the wrong connection? You are now getting left sounds out the right, and the right out of the left. Stop doing videos unless you are going to do them right.

I want to use this in my car with Teyes cc3 head unit with optical spdif output. The teyes only has front and subwoofer out. I need rear out as well(was goign to use surr Left and Right). however, i don't have a Center channel. What should I do? can I combine front and center somehow or just not use center or will i loose valuable audio?

I have HD audio rush 5.1 decoder. As per your video I have connected my Tata Sky+hd and Blu-ray DVD player(Tata sky set top and Blu-ray have coaxial cable). I have connected all the cables but not getting sound. What is to be done.

thanks! I have a receiver with 6 rca imput connections, but, 90% of tv's, dvd's etc have only two, this would make diference? connect a optical cable to the converter, and to 6 rca cables to the receiver? i am using 2 rca and 4 are empty, but i have sound in all speakers

I am not likely to buy something where the knockoff artist not only mis-spells the word digital as "dinital" and all the rca outputs are the same color, when the original Logitech Z607 or digital rush product is likely extremely cheap as well.

I had this from ebay and wired it to tv via optocal cable and after exactly 2 days of using I heard sound like something exploded and the sound became very very low.
Any ideas how to fix this?

You dont have the idea to get setup for this device properly.

You are lucky. I don't have optical out of my computer, but the decoder is supposed to work with analog input as well. Mine does not. Zero sound. Zilch. I'm guessing piss poor quality control, because I have confirmed the setup half a dozen times.

S.R. and S.L. channels perhaps should be placed behind listener. That's probably why they called surround...
