For those who have built their websites and are getting visitors, how much effort have you put into improving the effectiveness of your site to get more leads?

For instance, many visitors tend to first look at the top left corner of a site (usually where the logo is) and then scan towards the top right. If there isn't a straightforward prompt like "call" or "request a quote" there, you might lose potential customers.

I've noticed many sites missing such opportunities. If you're open to it, share your website link, and I'd be happy to offer suggestions to help you attract more leads.

Do I have to purchase a plan on squarespace before I can start building my website? I would like to see their templates and their tools before I pay anything.

Do you still use SiteGround or do you use a different host now?

Hi Gillian! New subscriber here 🙋‍♀️ I downloaded your "Online Business Quickstart Guide" (Thank you!) and have a question...... You said that WordPress is the way to go because other platforms such as SquareSpace and Shopify have limitations and often don't rank very well in search engines. Is this still true today? My first business is on WordPress, and I am consistently in the top 3 results for my keywords. I am now in the process of creating another business (e-commerce) and looking into website options. I've heard that Shopify is the way to go because of their built-in apps..... What are your thoughts on this? I would love to hear and value your opinion! Thank you!! 😊

I have a domain, and wordpress is installed it sucks. Most non-intuitive ever. icons with that have no tex and you need a map to figure it out. has to be a better way

What a great way to start a video

I’m going to make a website that’s kind of like wattpad but for younger ages so that kids can read and publish original stories

I HATE squarespace. I wanted my choice of colors.. nope. I decided to leave and go to wix but squarespace said I couldn't use my domain name I paid for 18 months if I left. I had to stay but I am still so angry. I finally had to pay someone to help me change the colors to my branding. Stay away from square space. Don't hire "a place to nest" she stoled my money and did nothing. If you hire a web designer don't hire a freelancer. I was badly ripped off.
