Your guest is pretty amazing. Thanks for the video. The graphs w/o perspective and kept up for only a couple of seconds just doesn’t work. :-)

Awesome to see your guest Dr Joey Von Nessen back. It’s interesting to see local academic insight on the South Carolina economy. Quality content! South Carolina has a bright future!

Charleston is growing too fast and is too crowded now. Traffic is a nightmare. Infrastructure is getting overwhelmed. Just like Boston. You can't overbuild in an old city. It wasn't designed for that.

Off topic…just heard from a friend that owns a lot in Mt Pleasant. She is dealing with a scam where someone is repeatedly listing her lot on Zillow, but she isn’t trying to sell. She has filed a police report, has a case open with the FBI, and the Secret Service. One buyer got as far as preparing to wire money. I just gave her a referral to a real estate attorney. She currently lives out of state. She says this is happening a ton in Charleston.

What is the best school in Charleston for the juvenile delinquent?

My friend is moving there because she is able to transfer there with her job and because she hopes there will be fewer juvenile delinquents there to influence her juvenile delinquent daughter who is 15.

Her daughter who doesn't have a driver's license yet sneaks out at night and takes her car for joy rides and steals money and jewelry from her and uses it to buy or trade for crack which she and her friends smoke.

She told her daughter this has to stop immediately. Her daughter replied, "Kiss my ass, Mom."

So, she is hoping Charleston will be a more wholesome environment.

Housing is 50k to 100k higher I make 2x the average median income for sc yet I cannot afford a home. We need layoffs to tame inflation etc.
