But last but not least Mike’s death/lying about it
Jesse looked up to Mike more than anyone and had a good relationship with him
Mike looked at Jesse like a son because his died (BCS)

Jesse was undoubtedly the best character in the show

Walter was such a master manipulator, always putting down Jesse making him think that everything that went wrong was his fault so Jesse always felt like he owed something to Walter to make up for all his screw ups so that no matter how much he wanted out Walter always kept him under his thumb. Walter White may have been the protagonist but he was for sure the villain.

I just love Jesse, the hint of the slightest good side left of it all, may never be close to Hank, but sincerely take ownership the mistakes one made, and never deliberately tried to hurt anyone. Walter on the other hand got selfish and evil. It's uncomforting for many, but that is the worst side of a man.

Walter White's manipulation of their friendship and his constant torment and destruction of Jesse was the one of saddest things I've ever watched...

Seeing the video go from all the conflicts between Walter and Jesse, to all the things Walter said to reassure Jesse before telling him to do all the things that haunted him later in the show was HEAVY. That and the very first words between them over the last time they each others faces...man.
