Both are great, but as a main gaming console Xbox is just a more complete package. Though if you already have a good gaming PC PS5 would be a better choice.

I feel like both systems are hyped up. Not that big a leap from last gen consoles next gen will happen with ps5 pro. Right now games run at a low resoultion at 60fps thats not revolutionary

Hi! I am a grownup man that have started rather late in gaming. To date I play CoD on my PC with an LG 27" OLED 165Hz monitor and a RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. I dont have many gaming friends. Should i move up/down to a console? Which one? I use an XBox One joystick. Thank you!

I do play old games but no older then 360 and or PS3 and it's only the best games. How about Dead Space ,2 and 3? Those r classics...

I'm sorry but I gotta go with X Box y? I'm an X Box Guy and so I have a lotta 360 games I actually wanna replay also all my X Box 1 games to b played on the Series X? Fa getta bout it! Now I always do end up buying for cheap the PS and all it exclusives used of course. This is exactly wut I will also do this gens time around also. Half of the PS exclusive games I also own on my PS4 which I bought u guessed it after I bought my X Box 1 and I saved a boat load of luci!! At the end of a generation or wen the games for that gen actually stop being made is wen I make my PS purchase, this is the secret or the strategy!

If you like the PS exclusives I think a PS5 and a Series S is the combo of the generation. For me personally I’m fine with simply having a Series X. Basically all games I care to play are on both platforms anyway and the Xbox controller is superior. PS5 has more “next-gen” (now current) features sure but to someone like me it’s mostly a gimmick (I also don’t like that there’s a mic built into the controller, regardless of whether or not it’s muted). Xbox controllers are more comfortable, especially over longer periods of time. I also don’t mind the batteries but I do look forward to a more modern iteration where we have a built in battery. Ever since the disastrous Xbox One reveal the majority opinion on Xbox has truly been skewed. I get the exclusives argument but as a platform, I truly prefer Xbox. Hopefully the world starts to see it in the coming years as a good competitor.

I’m honestly stuck on the fence because ps5 has spider man and other marvel games but Xbox has the game pass and they are going to release a Indiana jones game soon so I don’t really know what to get.

The hardest thing for me is loosing my trophy collection and years of games. I’ve had the same psn since day 1 of ps3. But Xbox keeps looking better and better

I had 2 Xbox one but got rid and kept my 360 I like listen to my music in background while playing the game.. just ordered Xbox one series x on amazon for $350 and gta 5 and 2k24 all for $408, with $150 gift card . $283.

Since November 2020 (Launch of Next gen consoles) ive had 3 different PS5 and 2 different Xbox Series X consoles. I love them both for various reasons. But something about the series x keeps bringing me back.

Fantastic video. As an owner of both for years now, it’s a really hard choice now a days. PS5 was notoriously the king for single player games, with Xbox being on top for multiplayer. This landscape is changing over the next 2 years, and it won’t be as simple.

The tools Xbox offers makes it feel more like a PC, in the way that you can do SO much with a single console, but it isn’t that flashy. PS5, to me, is more like MacOS. Sleek, intuitive, and premium, with some extra features exclusive to the platform. I wish I could play my PS5 more, but there is always something about the Xbox bringing me back.

Xbox controllers power 🔋 last longer. Xbox has more games incoming to its platform next year, aside from cheaper online subscription content and greater availability, plus quick resume for multiple games without having to pay for it and xbox anywhere too are the few extra things you may have forgotten 2 mention plus its actual faster cpu speed not ssd sadly. Honestly IMHO I only see 2 or 3 games in PS5 that interest me. So, for me, the choice is clear - XBox Series X. However, both are great in their own right and have pros and cons. X Box just has more pros than cons.

Could I play offline games in xbox series x?

I have both. However, I myself have started playing mostly Xbox gamepass ultimate is way better than ps plus in my opinion. Plus, the backwards compatibility is great been playing a lot of the old school games like cod, ghost recon and battlefield.

Everyone talks about Xbox series X's backward compatibility but i have a dozen or more games that won't play, sure you can play the Halos but that is pointless with the Master Chief Collection. I'm an Xbox fan i have been for years the Game Pass is a great feature for those to play games they might not normally play other than that nothing has changed.

Xbox series X is awesome. Had a 360 sitting for years unused. Most of the games I can play on the series X, and they look better. The Xbox is extremely quiet, blends well into my room, and had zero performance issues. The PS5 looks like an aircon. "Bold" design.

The controller issue has sided me over to xbox.

If xbox gets better exclusiv and more solo narrativ games and rpg games i might go back there, since i already love the hardware. But until then i stay on Playstation.
Still i use gamepass on pc to enjoy some of the xbox games.

As a Xbox SeriesX owner and GamePass Ultimate subscriber for years now. I say buy a PS5 and only buy the best games you enjoy! And I'm an Xbox guy since Day 1 with Halo Combat Evolved.

I personally think the backward compatibility for Xbox is down right insane, actually started to buy a lot of old OG Xbox and Xbox 360 games as most of them upscales perfectly to 4K. Also all Xbox One games work on the Xbox Series consoles. For example all Silent Hill games work fantastic, FF13 looks fantastic, Lost Odyssey lies in my backlog and is said to be one of the best RPG:s of all time. Also Game pass is also really nice. Game streaming also works much better.
Also prefer the operating system over my PS4 Pro (not sure if it has changed for the PS5).

I got the series x. Don't find either system to be that great but game pass is an amazing deal. $3 to play all these awesome games

As someone that has both consoles Xbox for 3 years and ps5 for 2 I do prefer Xbox overall and when it comes to shooters and online and I prefer single player games on my ps5 but Gamepass brings me to turn on my Xbox more as someone that’s been a PlayStation guy since ps2
