Modern sonic's jab looks so wimpy I prefer the smash bros ultimate one

The more I review this video, the more it resembles Smash 4's custom fighter mechanic.

My favorite was the Sonic battle one.

I absolutely adore Modern Sonic's up air with the upside-down Adventure 1 pose!

They successfully replaced the Spin Dash with the Boost, making Spin Dash 2, Sonic's Down Special, just Spin Dash.

Oh hey look! It’s Sonic in Smash Ultimate with ACTUAL PERSONALITY! For real tho, it’s a real shame Sonic’s cocky and confident personality isn’t on full display here when it’s been sorely missed since his inclusion in Brawl. In the next smash game (if there IS one after Ultimate) the team HAS to rework Sonic’s moveset to include his more modern outings like the boost and bring back his personality as well! They especially gotta bring in some moves from Frontiers as well including a cinematic final smash where after Sonic transforms into Super Sonic, he dashes at the opponents and anyone hit will be launched into the mouth of the first titan from Sonic Frontiers. Super Sonic then deals several devastating blows to the titan and then Super Sonic boosts through the core of the titan just like how you end the boss in the actual game, the titan blows up and thus launches the fighters when the cinematic ends. Plus you gotta have the detail where Sonic will tap his foot in frustration when he loses almost like saying “Yeah yeah I lost, whatever. Can you hurry up to the next match already?!” It would be funny and also fitting for Sonic’s character.

BATTTLE SONIC

In the next Smash game, if there is one, Sonic should get some of his attacks from Sonic Heroes and Sonic Frontiers such as the Tornado Jump attack and his Sonic Boom flash kicks.

Most are the same, but I slightly prefer battle.

I think modern's the best

This remind me alot to the same idea from smash crusade were cetain characters have different move sets or final smahes i remember theses are little mac, ryu, Chun-li

It's painful seeing this and thinking it's official. Like the devs know Sonic is a huge attitude in ultimate he has none

I like the battle because this game call super smash bros ultimate

My perfect sonic version would be modern, but have super sonic a transformation

the fact that you haven't been hired by nintendo yet is downright unforgivable

Tbh, I feel that some move have too much multi hits, but the concept is really freaking cool.

Also, that up throw is a bit too much imo

Still mad the never implemented the sonic battle animations in smssh that games movesets literally could give us multiple sonic reps i really just wanted shadow even as an echo

I WISH that Smash 6 is gonna have a moveset closer to his Battle Moveset for Sonic. Cause that one is so much fun to play! And if not, atleast a bit closer to his Frontiers moveset. But still, that Battle Sonic, he has all I would want from Sonic and more!!
