No blue screen guy! Check it out....they released a "making of" showing all the sets and them hand painting the background. Loved "It's a green scene and we all know that for a fact." But I loved your reaction!
ОтветитьIf i hadn't hit subscribe already, i would have after you changed shirts. Top notch humor.
ОтветитьThem getting to the real world. Reminds me alot of how Elf gets to New York. Alot of scenes remind me of other movies. Such as " I'm just Ken" reminds me of " Greased Lightening ", from Grease.
ОтветитьHow did you like the movie? I saw it twice, and it’s one of the finest films I’ve EVER SEEN. It’s a social commentary on gender roles in society. So happy that Mattel went along with this! Margot Robbie produced it, and has a pay day of $50 million+!
ОтветитьPlease react to bts of Barbie movie
ОтветитьIn another video it was stated that Margot Robbie did ballet previously and those were her feet - perfectly shaped on her toes out of the slippers.
Ответитьthey wanted to incorporate the Aqua Barbie Girl song but they couldn't get the rights to it so what you heard at the end was that god awful version Nikki Minaj wrote for it 🙄
ОтветитьShe actually hit the stunt man with her punch. She immediately goes over to him to make sure that he’s ok.
ОтветитьI don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie with Margot Robbie, I am may not have even recognized her as an actress until this movie but she is Barbie💕 I really enjoyed this movie, it’s so good, the level of camp is perfect not too overwhelming because you see everything you expect to see, but the cheesiness doesn’t get too overwhelming or the—-actually nothing in this movie could’ve been overdone I just wish it was longer😂 the ending scene! I wish I had been paying close attention and anticipated what was going to happen when I finally watched it😂 is full of surprises from beginning to end.
Ответить“See the green screen?” Lol no.
ОтветитьI'm a 67 year old woman who never really cared for playing with Barbies but I was excited for this movie. It was my birthday so my daughter "made" her husband, 16 YO son, 14 YO daughter, 9 YO daughter go with us to see the movie. Everyone liked it except the 9 YO. I want to see it again several times because, in reading reviews, I see that I've missed a lot of things and the various perspective of those things. There's a lot in this movie. I laughed and I cried. The billion dollars that it's brought in so far is well deserved.
ОтветитьWhen I walked in high heels a lot, the walking in the air was not a difficult thing. But you can't hold it for very long without support. Ankles and calfs get really strong like that :) And the movie was great! Went with a 9 year old with no expectations and it was so much fun :) You should see it if you haven't, as you will get som aha's out of the set :D
ОтветитьGo see the movie! The trailer tells you nothing.
ОтветитьWhat is the big deal about her feet? Anyone who has taken ballet can easily stay up on their toes like that. She does have a high arch so that makes it seem extra amazing.
ОтветитьI think the switch in music to Nicki Minaj is integral bc Nicki revived Barbiecore in this generation and her fans are called “barbz” a la Barbie✨
ОтветитьWould love to see a review of what you thought of the movie!! It was a 10/10 for me and I don’t remember the last time a movie earned a 10/10 from me!
ОтветитьGlad you like it so much! - but this post would have gained from a minute of research. NO BLUE/GREEN SCREEN.
ОтветитьNO GREEN/BLUE SCREEN! Those are painted backgrounds. Yes 'real' but remote-controlled 3/4 sized cars. You should not expect the trailer to explain!
ОтветитьThey’re not sparkles it’s ✨kenergy✨
ОтветитьStanding on the balls of your feet is fairly common with trained dancers, it’s called a relevé. Although I’m sure she needed a ballet barre to hold that if it took hours to film at that angle which is not as straight up that works better for your center of gravity.
ОтветитьWhy you dont see first well the trailer and later speak about it?
ОтветитьI absolutely adored your reaction to this! Amazing energy and commentary! Also, the ending changed the music to be more of a surprise because of the fact that they're putting a Nicki Minaj song in the film, the real Barbie of our world.
ОтветитьAre you the famous editor who edits all those videos?
ОтветитьI had LOL over the fact that you don't seem to understand that people can stand on the balls of their feet. 😂 🤦♀️
ОтветитьSo according to Robbie, she wasn't on a harness. They had tape down so the shoes wouldn't follow her feet and then off screen she's holding onto a support bar. But it's all practical and practiced ❤
ОтветитьYou can how the barbie dream house use in the movie was made on YT is Margot robbie who present the house
And ik i’m 1m late 😂 (i’ve already seen the movie on sunday 30th it’s so cool 🥹💖)
Why aren't you using the arrows to move in the video?
ОтветитьPlease consider doing Billie Eilish's song for the movie, What Was I Made For? So poignant and well done!
ОтветитьAfter the film I can say I'm a fan of the trailer & the Just Ken. But the flat feet joke had me rolling that was gold
ОтветитьThere was no blue screen. It was practical effects.
ОтветитьHer screaming flat feet is funny ? 🙄 more like annoying !
ОтветитьThe horrible song at the end of the trailer is Barbie Girl by Aqua, released a few years ago, and possibly the most annoying record ever made.
ОтветитьApparently it’s not blue screen, it’s an actual painted backcloth, and the sets were actually built. The theme is based on the Wizard of Oz, but sort of in reverse. Dorothy lives in sepia toned Kansas but when she falls she knocks herself out and dreams of Technicolor Land of Oz, but at the end she is safely back in Kansas. Barbie lives in pink plastic Barbie World but visits the real world where things are rather desaturated and grey looking and she learns about things that just don’t happen in Barbie world, like death, and children who don’t like Barbie.
Apart from Wizard of Oz, which is showing at the Barbie Cinema, there are references to things in many classic films, some of them really obscure. This film is definitely aimed at adults, there are many things in it that no child of Barbie fan age would understand. For example, there is a reference to something in The Godfather; it is unlikely that any child of that age would have seen that film and even if they had probably wouldn’t like it, or understand it.
It’s very cleaver, I,be seen several trailers and an interview with the director but I don’t think I could warptch the whole film for an hour and a half; it would destroy my brain, to what’s left of it. My favourite that I’ve seen is that one of the Barbies it really tatty looking with much of her hair roughly hacked off, what look like coloured pencil marks all over her face, and a torn dress. She’s obviously supposed to look like she’s been played with by some horrible child. I wonder if this reflects on the director’s own childhood, if she ever owned a Barbie.
Loose Wiz of Oz kinda plot.
ОтветитьTrailers are great. Movie SUCKS
Ответитьthose were matte paintings - not blue/green screens!
Ответитьthat last piece of music you paused over was Aqua with " I am a barbie girl. Mattel was livid when it came out. it was played a lot faster here.
ОтветитьI'm seeing lots of comments about Nikki Minaj doing the song, but i need all y'all young people to know it heavily samples from Aqua's Barbie Girl, one of the most iconic songs from the nineties, which is the part you hear in the trailer.
ОтветитьYou should totally react to the Oppenheimer trailers if you haven't seen them already because that movie looks amazing. It's also connected to Barbie all over the internet because both movies come out July 21 and look really good but have super different vibes
ОтветитьAccording to Margot and Greta there is no blue screen. Everything was painted to look flat like a real toy on an actual movie lot. There’s no actual water in Barbieland just like with a real toy.
ОтветитьI think you will love the video about the set that just came out, its called "Margot Robbie Takes You Inside The Barbie Dreamhouse | Architectural Digest"
ОтветитьMargot has said for the shoe/foot scene they had double sided tape on the spot for the shoes to stay in place & she held onto a rail to get balance for the heeled feet part.
& pretty sure most of the barbie world set is painted not a green/blue screen.
All the houses and stuff were made then the back bit with the tress are a drawing
ОтветитьLoved your reaction. I personally can't wait to see the movie 💕💕💕
ОтветитьThe shoe/ sandal scene is a Matrix reference lol. Red pill or blue pill
ОтветитьUm your hair is amazing
ОтветитьThe fact that there aren't any blue screens in the movie lmao.
ОтветитьMargot said in an interview that she was walking and they had a ramp with a metal bar she held onto to in order to stay upright
ОтветитьTheres some fabulous little decisions theyve made that you might not notice unless playing with Barbies was a big part of your child hood. The way she floats down from the top floor of her house is exactly how barbie gets around when kids play with her
Ответить
