Thank you to those who helped me make this video possible and to those of you who took the time to watch. I appreciate all of you.

I filmed this video back in April of 2023 and included the portions of Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami as it happened. It didn't feel right to release it without making these edits.

All we need is Las Vegas and is going to be a sole MLS town, yet lower attandance in Yankee Stadium and to see one day the lowest attandance in the Super Bowl in Super Bowl history.

Yet let one of the networks get the rights for MLS games and I am sure it will take away viewers from othet leagues.

To say it all thr NFL will be number 2.

Relegation without relegation.
1. MLS future: 40 teams divided into 2 levels. Top level 20 teams and lower level ' dog house ' 20 teams , only 1 conference in each level.
2. Every half of the season the bottom 10 teams from top would be ralegated the dog house and the top 10 teams from the dog house would be promoted to the top level. And the next year season will be the teams will start from the places that they ended previous season.
3. Each team will play 38 games , no playoffs! Beacouse the entire seasson will be like playoffs. The fall champion will play the spring champion in MLS cup. The season will start in july /august and end in may/june. In this way we can streach the season more if teams from colder locations start hosting later and stop hosting earlier. MLS cup will be in june. Now MLS playoffs/cup is when everybody attention is on NFL , it's crazy.
4. in this system MLS clubs will play total 15% more games than before. It does not make sanse that half of the teams end season sooner than the rest.
5. It would be a nice compromise between relegation/promotion and the current system were many players love to finish the season sooner!
6. There are would be no safe middle of the table place , it will be easy to be relegated and easy to be promoted.
7. The revenue would be divided between franchises the same way as before so the teams in the dog house would no suffer financially.
8. This system would create a lot of excitments all year long.

Why are you including Zlatan as being washed up or not "real international talent." He bent the MLS over and made it his bitch with 52 goals in two years, then went back to Europe and averaged over 10 goals in three years and winning the league with Milan. He wasn't a spring chicken when he came to MLS, but he still had legit gas in the tank.

113 000 000 people watch the Super Bowl. 3 750 000 000 people watch the soccer World Cup. This means that 33 times more people watch the World Cup than the Super Bowl. Americans, wake up and stop breathing your own air. Literally nobody outside your country cares about American football, do not follow it or could even name a single player in the NFL. Your sport is just a small local event.

I don't think the Apple thing is working as well as it could either, mostly they need to play on more days then just Saturday. It is possible that Apple will grab the ABC network from Disney which would make it possible to A) Be on a national network B) possibly put some games on Monday and use the title of "Monday Night Football". But One thing I feel will be key in their success will be looking at were certain nationalities are located in the US or Canada and trying to get some of the top Europeans to play in cities were that nationality is high. Like getting Ronaldo to play in the Bay Area or Mbappe to play in Montreal (I am well aware this unlikely but give the Messi deal and it prob becomes more possible)

I agree MLS is gonna make the jump esp if things go well with Messi, but I don't see it making it to #2 in the near future. As your chart showed It already leaping over the NHL (A sport that could really use Quality over Quantity by building more Canadian markets and less Southern US Markets) But I think MLB will be on the rise over the next 10 years esp if they expand. I think you will see a massive dive from the NBA once Steph and Lebron retire

Soccer World Cup (Or may I say Football World Cup or Futbol Copa Mundial) was always bigger than SuperBowl. Just do the math and you will find the answer: How many people lives in USA? 500 Millons? 1/12 of the world population. Well...maybe some people influenced around the world wanted to see an American Footballl Match. I remember I tried to watch a game in 2002, and I got frustrated because it's steady the most of the time. And most of the people around the world thinks "Sports = Some guys or team doing movements to achieve a goal". thats the meanining of Soccer....you need just a ball to force 22 guys to run and kick a ball just to score a goal. Cricket is the second most popular game in the world...(but it's only played in UK colonies just like India - Ausstralia) No one plays Cricket in Europe.

Then, the most popular collective games are all them about a team trying to score a goal (and some rules according the specific name of the sport).

Thats were you can find the list of the most popular games:
Soccer (Futbol / Football)
Rugby
Hockey
Basketball
HandBall
Volley
WaterPolo
And then maybe Basketball or Softball

These are the most popular games around the world....
Then...
Tennis as Single / Individual sport
Racing
Atlhletism

The remaining sports are just....nothing.

If you take a look at Olympics, you will find the most popular sports around the world....
The collective ones are:
Soccer (Sub 23 years old teams)
Rugby (7 players version)
Handball
Volley
Basketball
Softball (Not Baseball)

Around the world, no one likes American Football.

Bottom line is that if this particular farmers / beer league (MLS) was based in say India for arguments sake, not a single soul outside of said country would know it even existed. Simply because the ‘talent’ & brand of football in the league is so piss poor.

The goal for the mls is to be in the top 10 leagues in the world maybe outstrip ligue 1 for #5 in the future. However for that they need to improve the quality of the game and resist the urge to sell their best players to Europe, which is hard to do when it has been profitable for the mls. Commercially the nhl remains #4 over the mls in America however it’s only a matter of time before mls takes it.
