That reminds me of my grandma, she would beat our butts to heck and back for whatever way we were misbehaving in her eyes and then she would come back to Earth afterwards like a woman having been exercised of a demon and she’d ask us if we wanted to go get some McDonald’s. She wasn’t perfect but she’s the reason that I am who I am today.

I am so confused by all these mom labels. Is this like a social media thing or what? I'm 41 and a parent so it's not like I'm to young to know what's going on. Wait, am I to old 😮?! Suddenly, in like the last month or so I'm seeing all these YT shorts about crunchy moms, crispy moms and now cigarette moms. What am I missing here 😂?

my dad was like this. he would yell at me in his drunken rage, but then he would sober up and try to make it up to me. he didn’t have parents, and his grandma was abusive, so he didn’t know how to express himself. the best he could do was buy me things. i didn’t want anything, but just spending time with him sober was apology enough. now he’s 10 years sober.

My mom was a cigarette mom. Even after she quit I remember kids asked me 'does your mom smoke cigarettes?'. I said no(we were all like six). They said "she looks like she does".😂
