After Antony J. Blinken sternly ordered Rwanda to withdraw its troops under the M23 rebels, the M23 did not withdraw – instead they regrouped to take other positions. The M23 is undoubtedly the Rwandan and Ugandan armies. The youths decided to organize themselves to protect the people in their villages - in return the M23 so far starts murdering people with machetes and bullets as they don't know who is in the local defense group. The European Union and the United Nations must act against the Kagame regime.

If this M23 was for the people of DRC people won't run away from the towns they occupy they are just thieves sent by multinational companies.. This Rwandan regime is surviving on stealing.

The conflict is Rwanda trying to keep looting the Eastern DRC. That is all. Multinational companies are behind all this financing the war. Rwanda has no money to finance the war. You have to understand this. This regime in Rwanda position itself to allow international thieves to use the territory to steal from DRC using armed groupes creating incontroled areas.

This is not the case on the ground. The M23 did a strategic withdraw so that they can concentrate their forces in Masisi ( mineral rich town). They entered this town under the watch of the regional force (Kenyan defense forces). Masisi fell without fight. It seems as if the regional force created a corridor to help the M23 to capture Masisi. Tensions and distrust are mounting here as to the rôle the Kenyan forces are playing in the DRC. We can foresee the Congolese army and civilians turning against this force that seems to help M23 capture more cities than helping maintain peace and stability in that region. The mission of the regional force needs to be clarified.

I have never seen a rebel group that does not seek a central government take over nor a separation but just operates like terrorists to kill. If these people are seeking an independent state or to take over the central government, they will be genuine but they are not. We don' t even know what they want other than we are stigmatized!

It's time for Colonials to redraw the borders because DRC been accusing Rwandophone for years that's why there's millions of Rwandophone refugees in Rwanda from Eastern Congo who fled from the massacre against them held by Bahunde, Mai mai, FDLR, and FARDC with Kabira government backed the massacre as well. M23 should disarm but never be integrated in DRC security forces but civilian service. Let Rwanda take back it's Tutsi brothers and not use them to contain Hutu FDLR on foreign soil infact DRC should expel both Hutu and Tutsi back to Rwanda for long term stability of DRC.

Museveni met the delegation from the United Nations Security Council led by Ambassador Michel Xavier Biang, the Permanent Representative of Gabon to the UN, at Commonwealth Resort Hotel, Munyonyo in Kampala on Friday 06 January 23. ChimpReports understands that the UN Security Council tabled information pinning Uganda and Rwanda in supporting the M23 rebels, a dangerous accusation that could attract sanctions against both countries for violating Congo’s territorial integrity. For Uganda, it is alleged M23 rebels were helped by a UPDF commander in his individual capacity while for Rwanda, experts presented satellite data showing Rwandan soldiers crossing into DRC to reinforce the insurgents. In response, President Museveni denied reports that Uganda was helping M23 rebels in any way. Museveni gave the assurance to the UN Security Council that “East Africa as a team under the commandership of Kenya cannot fail to investigate and know” the truth. “If we work in East Africa we shall go, investigate and get facts instead of counter accusations which never end,” Museveni assured. He also told the UN Security Council that rebel groups destabilizing Eastern Congo have at times acquired firearms from the weak Congo army.
