Tonight, 5:20 pm Pacific, I stumbled over your version of Harvest Moon and I took it from where I was writing to our living room where my wife, whom I’m still in love with after 44 years was sitting and not feeling well at all.
She’s a former Broadway star and I’m an always struggling writer/actor.
I hadn’t heard this Neil Young piece in multiple decades and she’d never heard it.
I put your version on and she got up from the couch in her fever and discomfort and we danced to you all and this song.
We were still the same age when you all finished those last notes, but our astonishing love had somehow gotten younger.
We both love you all for this and we always love to dance close, holding each other.

I have watched this probably a hundred times over the last year or two, it never gets old, it is as close to natural barnwood perfection as four people can make.

I've heard some very good covers of this song ever since Neil Young first recorded it. However, and I am a huge fan of Young, THIS cover might not only be the loveliest in terms of vocals and the instrumental arrangement, but may even top Young's original. PS. Listen to this on either your headphones or on a 5.1 sound system. The stereo on this video is off the rails. Just wonderful!

I somehow happened across this a week before Christmas,at first I thought “oh,another cover”…then AJ’s voice kicked in….i am hooked,I watch this every chance I get and have just downloaded the audio version. Then her little,triumphant smile at the end of her solo melts me every time.
After a little research I discovered she’s been in the music scene from a very early age,appearing with Molly Tuttle among others…A very talented young lady..
