ez the game can be played on all the devices u can think of yes even on fking phone. and no bullshit all u need to do is download the game run the game and u are directly into world of enjoyment and no bullshit tryhards, waiting for a match or TRANSACTION bullcraps. and modding it is never better

I’ve been playing this game daily on Xbox since it came out. A bunch of times I have played it 11-13 hours in a day. I have trigger finger arthritis now and gamer thumb arthritis 😢

If this game was unmodifiable, then it wouldn't have lasted this long.

Sure, it would still have a small dedicated playerbase, as all multiplayer games tend to.
But it wouldn't be this popular. Period.

What about people like me who play offline. Games still live on offline regardless of online multiplayer.

Back 4 Blood was made by developers from Tutle Rock studios, they also created Left 4 Dead 1. But Left 4 Dead 2 was developed by Valve. So the B4B developers have nothing to do with Left 4 Dead 2.

Left 4 dead was just way ahead of its time and you can tell because it’s still holding up, even the damn AI are 100x better than most AIs from today’s day. 10/10 game

TL DR, its just fun. Its effective in its simplicity and not over the top game mechanics and lack of rpg elements.

Playing as a zombie is way more fun

The put the best aspects of all co-op games ever created. Put them in a blender and stuck it in the microwave, in the end L4D came out in the end.

This is one of a handful of games I still play to this day, I play this game on series x everyday and still find matches in seconds. I expect my time on this game to lessen when GTA 6 comes out but still in my top 3

I grew up playing this game. I was 15 years old when this came out. Ah all the good memories. Also, I bought this gem for 50 cents during a steam sale, along with the first one

it's because of their system. the zombie wont spawn at the same spot / amount. The possibility is random and unpredictable

One small thing i really like about the characters are the voicelines and their facial expressions

Why do people still play the game?

It's an oldie but a goody 😎

Lfd2 is great, easy enough to learn and mod and enjoy. No stupid loot box gambling etc ranks or none of that hot garbage. You can play it daily then stop n come back a year later and still know what you are getting into. It’s typically cheap and easy to run without a 10,009 dollar pc. Only issue I have is for some reason modding the special infected crashes the game or gives nonsense errors when joining a match. I can change the textures of everything else, change guns, turn the survivors into anime girls but ya touch the specials n the game craps itself. 2nd Vs mode can get very toxic and elitest. Outside that is just really well done.
