“You can’t touch the streams”

Smart people like me? So you really want to see the world burn?
ОтветитьBest 2 out of 3 anyone?
ОтветитьWas that invented by Allen-Bradley?
Ответить“Multi-pass…”
ОтветитьKirk key
ОтветитьAt the facility I work at, we have two of EVERYTHING. Two breaker rooms, two water pumps, two coolant distributors, two shutdown panels, two everything EXCEPT the reactor. We’re still one of the only single-unit nuclear facilities in the Midwest. If you’re autistic enough to figure out which one it is, we’re the only one operated by Xcel. Hello from Minnesota!
ОтветитьWhen do I start?
ОтветитьDo you know anything about nuclear power/fission?
ОтветитьSometime I think this is just a phase you're going through.
(Laughs in Basler IPS100).
I think our plant has 5 feeders. I think we're about 55 megawatts.
ОтветитьThis is why I’m the drafter and not the electrician. I don’t want to be there when they start flipping switches.
ОтветитьOn ships we have 2+ generators and sometimes you have to sync them up and put them on the same board. Theres a doodad called a Synchroscope for that - dont close the interlock unless theyre in phase!!
ОтветитьElectrical engineering? Check.
Black Sheep references? Check.
Me with a screwdriver: "I wanna see how it works from the inside"
Ответитьnot a decade, possibly several decades
ОтветитьYou honestly have inspried me to get a trade degree in industrial electrician work. I have a math degree, and I don't want to be behind a desk all day. This seems like real, meaningful, and tangible work, so thank you for the edutainment.
Ответить"You got to keep em separated"
ОтветитьThe building is work at has 3 units. I've had to change a fuse in one
ОтветитьWorking with horribly dangerous stuff gang
ОтветитьYou gotta keep em seperated.
Heyyyyyyeyey.
The system I maintain has parallel feeds to dual sub houses, and a tie sub to back feed one to the other. We also have partial ties in the plant. The plant makes 1M an hour. Every scenario that could be thought of has a plan for redundancy. It makes shutdowns for cleaning and testing so fun 🙄. Did I mention all the rack in breakers have backup, oh and we have a back up 13.8 to 480 transformers. Did I mention every scenario has been thought of. 😂
ОтветитьJurassic Park vibes
ОтветитьAs a machinist, "clean you off the wall with a hose" is one of my biggest fears lol
ОтветитьLol, just imagine the arc flash
ОтветитьI greatly appreciate the offspring reference
ОтветитьHe called me smart😢😮😊
ОтветитьGot the real question did your ex wife find tour grindr account ?
ОтветитьI think this guy has a Grindr account. Just saying
ОтветитьIs this what they call a switchgear?
ОтветитьForgot to say, cause this is where it's ar
ОтветитьI smell on hot days already. Give me the third key.
ОтветитьThis is shit I've never even seen and I worked and a fortune 500 bomb disposal plant ( also not an engineer)
Ответить0:35 Am I the only one that sees an Original Series Type 2 Phaser Pistol on the tool rack behind him?
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
Big Bada Boom!
ОтветитьI like your videos. Are you the real Sheldon? Lol
Ответитьwait, im smart?
ОтветитьIt's not automatic like if a has no power b kicks in?
ОтветитьWait, why do you have a third key?
ОтветитьYou can't *cross the streams
ОтветитьCalled a Kirk key interlock. Switchgear manufacturer here. Pretty legit description.
ОтветитьI just noticed he has a phaser on his tool board.
ОтветитьAre those masterpact breakers?
ОтветитьThanks for calling me smart. I appreciate someone actually complementing me for once.
ОтветитьThe costa Concordia crashed because that didint work.
ОтветитьGrindr account? Fifth element Big Badaboom? I feel seen with all these awesome references
Ответить1) don't bring up my Grindr account
2) what's your...weapon of choice
You had me at Big Bada Boom. XD
ОтветитьAll I see is the generator scene from Jurassic park💀
ОтветитьInteresting , Thank You .
