In one GA4 property that I have access to, the automatic update (from Google??) set session_start as key event :).
Sooo.... key event rate was very high.

And you are right. How do we know that other sites have GA4 set up correctly?

Sir How can we see the Ip addresses of the users of your website in Google analytics 4. It used be present in earlier versions as "Client Id" under "User Exploration". Is the feature removed. Please explain ?

Is Benchmarking in GA4 rolling out slowly? I still don't have it, even though it's enabled.

It is good that you detailed the problems about benchmarking - I was just about to write the same critique. I can´t believe GA4 is still such a useless platform after so many years. What are they doing? :(

There are still so many errors. Data that doesn´t easily fit together, report filters unable to use 'contains', our inability to easily change graphs to fccus on other metrics. the fact that comparing to other periods only provide the percentage difference and not the absolute changes and much, much more.

There are workarounds to some of these, but it is a struggle.

A video recommendation: Perhaps you could show us your optimal custom explorer reports or dashboard layout that allows for deep analysis in GA4 (if you have such a thing). All report guides out there only handle really basic setups and doesn´t really provide any meaningful custom setups that provide adequate insights into the data. The examples are usually stuff like "how to make a graph of sessions" or "here are the metrics for specific source / medium". The lack of useable examples makes me wonder if anyone actually uses GA4 for analysis anymore other than looking at the overall numbers.
