You said exactly what am also noticed with Samsung log its looks more like Digital smartphone footage rather than more lean towards camera footage due to excessive sharpening and artifacts also in general, even though its log, Samsung footage has some over saturation issues I think it’s mainly due to the lack of bitrate they tried to increase the sharpness that leads to the artifacts plus, there is excessive noise and soft edges specially present in the corners of the frame
Even though iPhone photos are Twice largest Samsung The bitrate Prores provides is simply unreal. The footage has not sharpening It’s almost very flatand raw plus you can push the footage is way more than what galaxy does plus the audio bitrate too

Great review. I purchased it for log video. It has some issues I hope they will fix soon. I'm considering returning it. With the built-in lut my shadows come out really green. With the lut .cube files they provide, I think it has some errors. When I use it in a mobile editing software like VN video editor, the color goes black when I apply the lut. It works in DaVinci resolve but I feel like I'm working against it just to get a good baseline and get the green tint and color banding out. I'm not an expert but it honestly just feels a bit like I'm grading regular footage. I want to see a pro do more with it because I honestly can't tell if something is wrong with it slightly.
