I knew there was a reason I was so attracted to her. Of course life is shit...can't everyone see this? I wonder why she hung on to the concept of "god" though.

one of my favorite thinkers is still you , not oddly because you go deeply into the hegalian dialectic , but also you seem to go into the deeper dialectic which is my thing , the mystery of not just how should we love , but why should we love in the first place ? and what i like about you is you go into that question of not only how do we love but , the fundamental question of why should we love to begin with ? which is both a central question of the begining of the love out of the quiet of love , or the nowhere of love

so my current obsession is with the book "the idoit" and this notion of grace as a very momentary redemption , and that only in this kind of momentary confinment that real grace actually works , that is my sort of religion at the moment so to speak is , that love only redeems as it redeems in the confinements of the moment or time, and that is why i like your philosophy , that love is not an absolute , but maybe it is , but maybe it is an absolute that is only contained with in time its self ? and that is god crucified that god or grace or love must be crushed in order to produce love , god must be crushed or broken in order to produce both love and time and the only way to produce love is this breaking or suffering that is time ? sorry if i was repetitive there

thinking about christian philosophy it is both at the same time the deepest and the most shallow of philosophies about the self.

the shallow side i wont even mention , or i will ,

the externalization of the other in the form of the sacrifice

or christ or everything that is bad about ones self

died on the cross

the interesting side is after that knee jerk externalization

that god him self our our selves entered into death

for the sake of engaging him self or our self

we are nothing but prince mishkin and at the same time rogozin

bearing our love for one another in the only capacity we have

the weaping upon one anothers faces upon something like a completion at the end of the book "the idot" by dostoyevsky

this is why my religion is still the religion of dostoyevsky

because the only grace possible is not the grace of god

but the grace a human like prince mishkian

since how could grace be other wise ?

both lustful and as kind as the ocean?

how can one be as kind as the ocean and also be the ocean ?

not possible .

to be as kind as the ocean one must also be awash in the ocean

to be ask kind as the ocean one must be as born under by the ocean as can be

and only as born under by this ocean can one see not just from the eyes of the father and of power but of the son crushed by the ocean

or by the daughter set aside by the sea

or by the father forgotton by the wind and by time

or by the other son neglected by the reason of another tide

a new son born of the moon forgoton by the sun

must in forgetfullness take the wholey frogotten

daughters , sons that weep for for the highest son in their guilt

and a poor , prince

sorry i was just trying to think though the concept of the prince mishkin in "the idiot"

your description of simons idea of the divine is actually just 1200ad mysticsm not to detract from her insight , but you seem to think that grace is about power and i think its a werid contradiction or two powers one of , one of might and the other of moral power..... and this is the strange stance that we find our selves in now , we need to make the mysics great again lol .... im poor so no response expected.

“Amen” sounds very akin to Martin Scorsese’s “Silence”. The latter is a favorite of mine. I’ll check out the former—it sounds incredibly inspiring. Thank you for the video!

Why not do the opposite: reduce the finite to the infinite? (This is the mystical solution.)
