Lady Featherington isn’t one of my favorite characters but I have to respect her for being a survivor in this time period. Her husband was useless, her family isn’t as wealthy as most others, and none of her daughters are noticed by a lot of people because of what they wear. It’s understandable why she tries so hard to get them decent matches because all she’s trying to do is secure a future for herself and her girls. She may not be the most affectionate mother but she is still a mother who does care about her daughters. And I respect her for it.
ОтветитьI love her character I find her family really funny lol and yes dramatic 🤣🫶😊😊
ОтветитьHow would she confuse her thoughts by reading a book?
Ответитьthat mom told a man to go fvck himself in regency age style. gotta respect her hustle.
ОтветитьThe corset scene is cringe. It fully misunderstands regency dress era and once again goes for a "look at this poor oppressed woman" corset hating take. Thin waistlines are illusions used in dramatic curve fashion (with bustle and breast padding). Regency dresses are the opposite. They are draped from just below the bust... as in a straight line all the way down. Your waist isnt really visible.
ОтветитьThe mother grew on me after a while kinda felt for her
ОтветитьWith a husband like Lord Featherington and 3 daughters to debut and marry off
I'd be a bit desperate and tactless too.
Especially when you live across from the bridgerton who are like the Darlings of society.
But she does love her girls and would do any for them which is shown in the second when she realizes the new Lord Featherington had no plans to bring her girls with them
Dang, I USED to think i was a fast reader!
Ответитьi honestly feel she has it extremely hard. redhead (which nothing is wrong with but i’m sure in these days they made it an issue) and a curvy woman. then let’s not even talk about her late husband. i don’t agree with everything she does but i do understand.
ОтветитьHonestly I love her, she's a scheming busy go getter, who has more character than the other mother🤣
ОтветитьI prefer her family cause the Bridgertons are too perfect
ОтветитьIf Atia of the Juliii timetravelled to Regency Britain Era.
ОтветитьLady Fetherington turned out to be quite clever and cunning tho, I actually see that Penelope gets after her in that regard)
ОтветитьShe was a fantastic and rather amazing character
ОтветитьWords go to fast to read
ОтветитьI really wanted to enjoy this but the words are flashing in and out WAY too fast for me to read. Even trying to go back and hit pause doesn't help as it the words flash faster than I can even hit the pause button. I gave up trying to read anything and just enjoyed the homage to Lady Catwhambles.
ОтветитьSo this is where Atia of the Julii is now after her son has become emperor…
ОтветитьI wonder why she thought it was a good idea to present all three of her daughters at once. It just strikes me as a little odd since she doesn't seem altogether pessimistic about Prudence's prospects (at least not at first), Phillipa's even less so, while Penelope is little more than an afterthought most of the time. Why all at once? Why doesn't she start with her eldest and work her way down, the way lady Bridgerton and probably all the others mamas in Mayfair do?
ОтветитьI wasn't angry at lady Featherington in how she handled the situation with Miss Thompson. After all she is pregnant with no husband in the 19th century and in her own way Lady Featherington tried to help her in her own way.

ОтветитьHonestly there were moments i disliked but never hated her .... She was women who was also trapped in society and loveless marriage with responsibilities of her daughter's .... She simply wanted to fit in and the best for her daughter's and was just really cynical can we blame her ??? That was the life she saw and learnt from ....
I honestly came to empathize with her especially in the second season when she didn't abandon her children even though she could have gotten everything she wanted and most of love she desired for ... But she kept her responsibility and love for her daughters above all.....
Despite the scheming she is just women trapped in quite patriarchal society which has made her cunning and cynical ....
the problem with bridgerton fans is that a lot of them get swayed by the perfect and majestic bridgertons to even realize that you do not have to like characters just because they're 'virtuous' and 'good', you can like the messy characters too its okay
Ответитьim sorry but I love the featheringtons, especially Portia like she's a delight and people who say she's annoying are just no! fun!
ОтветитьLady Featherington, by far, is my favourite character. I get this sense of desperation from her that separates her from everyone else. She just wants what everyone else wants, and is fearless in achieving it. Also, the colours of her house is so pretty! Say what you want about the greenery she wears, it’s stunning!
Ответитьok but after season 2 I kind of love her esp after her "I'm a mother" scene. she really is just trying to survive and make sure her family doesn't go bankrupt
ОтветитьShe is actually my favorite. Not that I think she is a good person, but she feels the most practical and real in a very messed up world. I like the world of bridgerton is brighter and more optimistic then that, but I love we still have her in it to show the darkness
ОтветитьThis family is like the Kardashians lol 😂 tacky tasteless do anything for clout , but I love them !!!! The mother is kris Jenner of her time
ОтветитьNo but I'm obsessed with Phillipa... she's cute as hell 💜
ОтветитьLady Featherington is a fun character who’s great to watch but I’m very grateful that she isn’t my mother lol
ОтветитьI didn't like her at first but that slowly changed throughout season 1. She's often very blind to her daughters feelings sometimes (especially Pen), but cares deeply for them, more than herself and her husband. I even think she actually even cared for Marina and the baby as well.
ОтветитьI really really adore this character!
ОтветитьLady Feterington is actually quite a good mother especially in season 2 (the edits are hilarious though)
ОтветитьPolly Walker is SUCH a legend! She's so funny.
ОтветитьThere's a lot of Atia of the Julii in lady featherington
ОтветитьThat scene lives rent free ❤️:
Penelope: Mama might I go play with Eloise ?
Lady Featherington: A lady does not play Penelope.
Penelope: Coughs* Uhm, excuse me Mama, might I go promenade with the suitors of Eloise.
acctualy i started liking her by the end of season two it reallt just showed shes trying her best ig(?)
Ответитьthe devil works hard lady featherington work harder
ОтветитьIm very worried about my taste cause I actually like some of her outfits 😂
ОтветитьSo backwards.
ОтветитьHaving some idea of what will happen to Marina Thompson, I can say I have every sympathy for Lady Featherington. Marina is a selfish cow.
ОтветитьI feel like Marina’s character was punished severely then it should.
ОтветитьPortia is supposed to be an annoying, desperate, and manipulative but I love her character especially on season 2 when she's plotting to scam other nobles with Jack Featherington 😂
ОтветитьLol
Ответитьyolanda hadid in the 1800s
ОтветитьThe Featheringtons are more interesting to watch than the Bridgertons. I'd rather have a series about them.
Ответить0k first of all I loooove your content super fun its great but the fact that finally FINALLY someone mentioned the fact that why in the hell are they wearing full torso corsets in regency dresses like completely different silhouettes🤨😫 anyway love pen and the feather gang is just great comedy tbh
ОтветитьWhere are their mobile phones & cheeseburgers to make it even more historically authentic ? Sadly the only place the ‘ Duke ‘ would historically have been in Regency England would be serving the drinks as a footman or flunkey.
ОтветитьHated Marina Thompson
ОтветитьAm I the only one who liked her dresses?
