Aristotle in his Poetics said that the ability to create metaphors was the surest sign of genius as it is the one thing that cannot be taught.

Only a few minutes in and I'm already vehemently shaking my head. Soooo, I am to believe that autistic people are unintelligent because they don't tend to respond well to change? Bee ess. Some of the most intelligent people I've known are on the spectrum.

Minus self confidence, I have all of these.

I NEED to always be thinking big, deep, thoughts it’s like breathing. And it’s satisfying and fun.

And as a gamer, I seek out games that play on these traits.

From Engineering, to politics…

Science fiction, fantasy, through to historical fiction

From grand strategy, to Minecraft!

I am an Architect, Engineer, Grand Strategist, Farmer, Diplomat, Politician, and Philosopher!

And these hobbies drive me to research the real thing.

My games are a safe space for me to explore my strengths without anxiety, and everyone telling me what I can’t do.

But I don’t need fame or fortune. I will mostly keep to myself and share my thoughts with those who will listen.
I wish prosperity to all. And if I can see a way to help, then I will. But regardless of what the future holds for me, I wish to be forgotten, no more than a footnote in history.
I would rather elevate someone else.

All I need is one or two friends and a quiet corner to watch the world continue to turn.

Peace and long life, to all the people of this wonderful world! 🖖

and NO, intelligence in not "tricky to define" It is one of the measurable features in human beings. You try to "democratise" intelligence here, implying that everyboda is in some way intelligent. No, it is not correct.
As a matter of fact, we have a huge problem in the US finding jobs for people with intelligence under 83%.

Sorry I enjoyed the show, however when it came to " THE BIG PICTURE " the chess board was set up wrong ? I would argue, accept for mental problems, everyone is intelligent , but not everyone use it. reason is it is hard to think, the circumstances of men's lives do much to determine their philosophy, but conversely,
their philosophy does much to determine their circumstances.

When anyone mentions my intelligence I quickly brush it off as curiosity. In my own eyes I am way more curious than clever. but I was always aware that I was better at recognizing patterns and had better spatial awareness than most... I can imagine things in 3d and can often predict how things fit together before even trying to put them together.
The comment I get the most is: "Why are you an electrician if you can do all that?!"
My only answer is that my curiosity is mostly triggered when it comes to building things and that having a job I find relatively easy allows me to spend alot of thought and energy on the projects I am working on at home... -Just don't tell my boss! LOL

Smart people cause more problems than the so called dim. It takes brains to tell effective lies and maintain. The author of this video seemed to leave out that intelligence is required in order to be a good liar.

Gacy, Manson and Bundy were all considered to be genius level intellects. Smart is not a virtue.

Smart people are just as likely to be screw-ups and lead miserable lives as the so-called dim.

Big crimes and big blunders required big brains.

Smart people are not rare.

Even if just by a little I seem to have the 15 signs, but I just feel like a complete mess, I never fully learn anything useful, I have no clue on what to do with what I learnt, it's very frustrating, yet people still ask me for advice on different subjects, I feel like a joke, not like an intelligent person.

While I am tempted to review just how accurate a description it is of my many extraordinary mental gifts, it is my greatest gift humility that makes it necessary and why I am such a total package. Yes, humbleness is really the key to my super humungous level of cool swagger. Don't have the player, hate the game. (Please note that humor in the form of sarcasm and parody is a preset good sign too I guess, I dunno. I think I'll have some pie. )

I remember I got called to go for testing for a medical job I was interested in which included a typing test. When it was time for the typing test, as usual, my hands panicked and my mind went blank. After that was an IQ test for about 90 minutes on every subject you could think of from earth quakes to commerce to oceanography etc. I remember working through the questions thinking I know a bit about this or I remember something about that until I got through all the questions. I didn't realize that I knew a little bit about so many things. When I got called in to go over my test results, the lady said 'well you failed the typing test so I can't offer you that job'😂. Then she said I'm very surprised at what a high mark you got on the IQ test, we rarely see that high of a score so I would like to invite you to apply for any other jobs that come up here that interest you. Who knew😃

I think one thing not included here is how important it is to organize and inter-relate information in one's mind, without that, you're just a data warehouse. This usually means breaking down information and rearrangeing it more clearly.
