Having Tatoo for them is a bad thing, because when you make a Wudu' to do Salah Prayer, it is Void because of markings that left forever on your skin .. yet you need to know Islam is a about our way of Life, this people at the Mosque don't even understand about life, they tend to bond and relate with their origin culture and tradition at their origin country.. You need to know, your Wudu and Salah Prayer is between you and Allah.. Allah always know your heart and your every intention that you have in your heart.. May Allah Bless you Brother.. i have known a revert Muslim who burnt and marked off his tattoo with a clothing iron before he went to Mecca for pilgrimage, he really regret what he did in his past life, he need to know that no matter what he did, Allah will always forgive him..

As a non Arab “revert” I’ve experienced hurtful things like this. I’ve also found that not all but a lot Arabs are racist and look down on people who are not Arab. Not only is it hurtful but extremely discouraging. My very first time I went to a Masjid I was turned away at the door and not allowed to offer salah. I think this is something shameful to our community and it’s something many refuse to even discuss. “In my own community!!!???” Imagine if you were already seen as an outsider because you weren’t from Yemen or Saudi Arabia? It’s a shame. Even now I struggle with sending my kids to the Masjid because I’m afraid they will be hurt this way and be discouraged from the path of Islam.

Assalaamu alaikum i dont blame you for getting this upset for someone saying you are not muslim becaus of your tattoos. Only Allah has rhe right to judge that. I myself am a revert and i have been judged in this manner for a different reason. Tattoos being haram in islam do not mean you are not a muslim. Many people revert who had tattoos and Allah forgives them. People tend to forget this factor or deny it. As long as you know it is haram to get more and you dont get more of course Allah forgave that and He knows best. May Allah protect us all from wrong judgement and keep us firm in our paths. Ameen.
