I was disappointed by the Veronica Beard blazer as the fabric is polyester? I wanted to buy one, but when I saw the fabric, no thanks! I didn't care about the price but the quality seems questionable if polyester.

A question..... Years ago, I was told that we need to be careful to NOT brake the look at the "half way" mark on our body. It needs to be cut in thirds for the best portion. Do you agree?

I have a black Miller with silver buttons and full sleeves. It has enough stretch which allows me to wear a size 8 which hits me just right in sleeve length. Totally worth the price!

I like both. I have some scuba black pants from Good American and love the fabric. I have a Mango blazer that looks like the Miller blazer so I will probably just look at the scuba. Thanks for this! (I am 5'6", 110 lbs, slender even build).

Right before Christmas Nordstrom had the Miller blazer for 300 off for only like a day. I ordered it in size 8. It fits me perfectly!

I would like to make a video topic suggestion please: I can't be the only person who doesn't understand why retailers charge these kinds of prices for garments, especially those made of synthetic fabrics. Is it just the label people are being charged for, or is there a quality element? I'd love a tutorial on understanding what features make a garment worth paying high-end prices, especially these days, bc it seems they're manufactured differently than they used to be. TI A.

Ive been watching your channel for years. Last year I was able to purchase the Miller, the Scuba Blazer and the Balmain blazer. I purchased the Miller and Scuba from the VB boutique in Dallas. I purchased three of the dickies as well. I purchased two Balmain Blazers from the real real. I like them all, but they all feel bulky. I can only wear them with t-shirts or I feel like I'm drowning in material. I still wear them at least once a week, because I like the way they look on me.

Erin, I had a friend call me one day crying because her husband forgot her birthday and I said to her "Oh no sweetheart, you have to PLAN your own day to make sure it is exactly what you are dreaming of. Let your husband, kids, or whomever know well in advance what that WHOLE DAY, if not week, will look like" down to the very last detail. By the time my birthday arrives, everyone is not only well aware of the events but so tired of hearing about it. LOL! I am extremely proud of that! We, as moms, get so few days we need to make the most of them!

I have two scuba blazers, and 5 dickeys. I found the Miller blazer way out of proportion for me, despite my preferring cropped blazers. (I'm 5'2") As for my scuba blazers, I get more wear out of my white schoolboy model. The black one, which i bought thanks to your raves, seems to snap together just a bit too low on shortwaisted me. They don't work for anyone.

I find that Smythe and Derek Lam Crosby blazers fit me perectly.

The current version of the Miller jacket does not have 3/4 sleeves - they are really long. I think the jacket is longer than my scuba jacket too.

I think I like the scuba

Could anyone who owns VB blazers talk about the fit? Specifically, do they seem to run large, small or TTS? Also -- I have very broad shoulders and always take out the shoulder pads from every garment (but people still think I have shoulder pads in! lol). So many blazers are cut way to small (e.g. normal sized) in the shoulders that I feel like I'm being cut into by the under arm area. How are these for women with Olympic swimmers' shoulders and a broad back? I don't live where I can try them on and am a little afraid to order something this pricey or try to get it from Poshmark or something, then it doesn't work. thanks!

I prefer my Scuba Blazers for the longer sleeves, fit, and the fact they don't wrinkle. I like buying the dickies with the attachable sleeve cuffs. It extends the length of the sleeves (super long arms over here) and really enhances the layered look. I remember the first video you posted with one of the Scuba Blazers and the grey hooded dickie. I was in love. I showed it to my husband and he immediately said, "Buy it. That is so you!" Thank you for all the years of inspiration. Completely elevated my style.

Thought about getting the navy with gold buttons then changing buttons to silver on navy one and using the gold on the black?.😂😂Would you ever buy their long jacket coat? Out of the two I think I prefer the Scuba blazer for myself. I currently have a VB leather Gail jacket which is much like the Miller but I feel as if the accented buttons makes me look top-heavy.

I have both. I wear the scuba blazer often — I have the schoolboy version. I bought the Miller blazer with silver buttons for a job interview. Leaving the building, a man in the parking lot said to me, you look fantastic! I got the job! Love both blazers!
