hi ! i make a short between positive terminal and the car body , my ecu doesn't have positive power , i put a wire to make power but i don't know how to find the broken wire to repair my car. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am curious about your wiring diagram, showing that the Hall sensors should get 12v from the battery. Is that correct? My understanding is that they get 5v from the Ecu 5v reference. Can you confirm?

I would like to ask. From the normal ecu position when we do cable extension do we need to programmer again or not? Will there be a problem with the operation of the motor?

Dear Sir, from republic of Panama. I am electronics technician and I would like repair ECUs. My mayor concern it is about the initial diagnostic when we receive the ECU from customer and the final test of ECU before deliver to customer.
Could you give some ideas of how to build an universal test unit to acomplish the task mentioned? Probably you can recommend equipment brands.

Are there standalone ecu's for the 4afe 16v?? If not can i use a 4age 16v standalone or do i have to go with custom wiring and different ecu e.x ecu master?

I'm not sure that was actually an appropriately sized piece of aluminum for mounting that ecu. 🤣 I'll just say I'm confident that ecu ain't going anywhere.

Is this standalone ECU can be used on the Diesel Engine ( Chevrolet Colorado Duramax 2.5 Diesel engine )? Presently ECU is damage and having trouble here in Indonesia as the Chevrolet shutdown their operatuons leaving their previous dealership no access to their on line Techline SPS. I am very interested ..The way installation , and the software was illustrated is awesome. Pls advise and where to order. Thank you
