How To Pick A Graffiti Name

My name doesnt has a meaning (its lewk) it's just my favorite letters

this video was excellent. i'm a newbie to the graffiti world and shopping around for different styles i like and trying to forge my own, and i've naturally already been messing around with how letters work together, so i'm glad to know i'm on the right track!
my current tag is "SAZ STAR" and its just something i sat around and thought up ngl, but it fits me and i like it. i first started kinda making it with the way the ST works, messing around with those two letters, and also A. still needs work tho which is why i'm here. i loved the section on dead space and space, totally changed the way i think about lettering n fonts
i'm developing more and more of a love for this stuff. i started developing interest as i expanded upon my initials when i signed my artworks (JS)

I’ve been thinking about some names i was thinking DOZE or something like RASP but i’m not sure how to implement them

my first name was fast😅

kyugeo was my first (after my name) but it was super stylized, some letters smaller and some bigger - but it only worked with thin marker, not with mop.

Hey man, I really wanted to use my real name (Nima) but I can't make it look good. I also tried JAB because I like to box but it looks like a crew name and NIMA would have been awesome because everyone would recognize it from school and id love that but of course theres the risk. my surname KARAI would also be one I was considering. Honestly Im lost at this point been thinking of a name from months. Maybe you could help? If I found a way to make Nima not look boring as heck maybe Ill use it.

I'm loving the Graffiti though i! The styles colors and culture, each artist has a unique style . The more colorful the better in my opinion.

It's so interesting. Your approach to the lettering helps a lot . Sometime it hard to get a flow going .as for name origin stories I dont really know? I had like a really creative experience with my daughter name . but tags and nick names and stuff not so much - it's harder.

im running with KORE! rn, i reallly like how square they are and the variations of the letters u can have. I stick the R and E really close to together because they look really weird then their apart

mine is "fairy"
i write the a lowercase (a) and r uppercase (R)
so they feel really symetrical to me! and the "I" in the middle really balances it out.
I'm very new though, so when you said 5 letters is "advanced" I briefly contemplated changing it (I'm the opposite of advanced)

BNOGG is my new name. I made a user name for Xbox 360 when I was 4 and the username is Baconnogg. I'm the only guy who uses it in any game. I had it for more than 12 years now Lol

you should take a name that you can modulate ... for exemple if your name is "gayboy" you can paint gayB or Gboy. Otherwise, Cope4 is a very good name ans is probably not taken because the legend says all people who paint then cop2 appears behind you and makes you gay or not, depends on if you are painting a cope4 piece or a gayboy one.

🤓. Tagging is letting ur hand/lettering style flow. Not over thinking it. U turned it into a 12 credit collage course. Lol. Jp. U have very good points. I write LERK. And the L can be frustrating at times. For first letter have to be creative to keep coming up with different way of presenting it.
