Where I am in North Yorkshire we have hills all around, but it's the flood plains below them that are all planned for new housing estates to be built.

Given Britain is one of the richest countries in the world, the response should be much better, and I don't think it's a matter of whether it's Left or Right in power, the whole system is completely messed up.
