MHW Iceborne | Best Safi Bow Builds (5 Elements & Blast)

I just started master rank with bow and it's pretty rough... I'm sticking with it until I can get critical element though.

So I'm kinda new and I heard is not necessary to have full elemental dmg deco due to the elemental cap. Is this a thing nowadays still?

These builds are great though they lack some of the newer things that have come out since the video was made. I Updated the build for 2024, if anyone is interested it is All Safi elemental bows speced in the same way as the video with the elemental awakens, Silver Rathalos Essence, and Augments. Silver Rathalos B Helmet, Chest and Arms. Fatalis A Waist. Raging Brachydios B Legs. For the decorations you will need the Expert Jewel+ 4 and the elemental attack up Jewel in the bow. Helmet needs another Expert Jewel+ 4 and a Spread Jewel. Chest needs a Shaver Jewel. Arms will need a Critical/Vitality Jewel and Mighty Bow Jewel. Waist is Fortitude/Physique Jewel, Forceshot Jewel, and Spread Jewel. Legs needs a Physique Jewel+ 4 and two Vitality Jewels. Charm will be the maxed out elemental charm that goes with your bow.

If you don't have the second Expert Jewel+ 4 for the helmet, just slot in any Expert jewel you have. You won't have 100% affinity but you'll have 95% affinity which shouldn't be a big deal since this updated set had Crit boost 3 and shaver for good up time of soften parts which should make up for not having max Affinity.

If you are missing some of the rarer decorations, I recommend doing the Mew are Number One Event quest since you can get some of the decorations required for this set. I would definitely say that this would be considered a Pro+ Build since you need to have beaten Fatalis and Raging Brachydios and have some very rare decorations. Though if you can build it it is fairly comfortable. Good Luck and happy hunting!

does true critical element stack with normal critical element. i noticed that since you can get both would it work or would true critical element override the normal one and cancel it out.

How do u get Silver Rathalos +4 set bonus with only 3 pieces?

I found this to be really punishing for average players, i took some crit and tender jewels for evade window lvl 5 and i feel like ultra instinct goku with that shit

i cant wait to get this high tier in the game, safi's weapons not only looks amazing but the costomisability and options will definitly be fun to experiment with

Am I understanding the wiki correctly that the Mighty Bow decoration only has a 0.273% chance to be in a worn, or 0.682% chance to be in a warped feystone? What the heck?

Just wanted to let you guys know that, in my quest to manifest Silver Rathalos Essence on my SafiBolt, I've discovered that the stored potential number caps out at 99.
The skills you can manifest cap out ability-wise much sooner.
I have one bow with Silver Rath because it literally came with the bow.
I do not use that bow right now anyway because Alatreon's bow took its place. The coatings are nice.

I may or may not be passing out at my desk at 3AM to discover this.

My water element is orange now which normally means I can't get it any higher. But isn't even fully awakend yet. Can I do something about it :/?

I cant use the safi armor I take more damage than I heal and die within 30 seconds of starting the hunt

That blast build looks on point, and a sincere thank you for taking the time to create/show these pre-end game builds! I can't tell you how many searches, videos, and guides that only provide speed runs or strictly pre-safi builds. This was and is a much needed video.

Hey maybe you can help me, i dont get the awakened Abilities - Silver Rathalos Essence ?? is it just luck or what i have to do? i get others every time but never got a Silver Rathalos Essence in awakened Abilities?? Maybe you got a tip for me?

Wouldn't stacking 3 crit boost instead of normal or 2 spread shot be more beneficial to overall crit elemental damage?

i thought getting the mighty bow/spread shots/normal shots gems was going to be rough... but im watching them pile up as i wait for tenderizer vitalitys to appear.

It makes me sad that all I'm missing for the pro is the tenderizer/vitality

Which augments have the blast bow?

I don't understand how he is getting 100% affinity with the last blast bow build. When he has weakness exploit going that's 50% affinity, plus 5 from the bow, plus 5 from the jewel, which adds up to 60. Where is the last 40% coming from?
