Yes! I came for the granular, actionable playbook, but got so fired up by the motivational speech that I literally had to pause the video 20 minutes in to go and get it done.

Ok but what if taste is quantifiable and more objective? Like, we say it's subjective but I think it's probably more objective than we'd admit. Like some stuff is objectively good, and some stuff is objectively bad.

Taste is not a guarantee of mainstream success, but it is a real, objective thing.

Is there a textbook you recommend to learn the basics of good design principles (you mentioned layouts, grids, and typography)?
