Max always went for the gap. You’re not trying unless you do so. He has been a cold calculated driver since 2018 and has grown up a lot since then. This lack of communication within the camp is why Lewis is leaving for Ferrari. Max is not going to be as patient with his camp as Lewis was with Mercedes.
