I’ve flown Delta for going on fifty years now and have never once been forcibly removed from an airplane! LOL It’s simple folks, if a flight is overbooked they will always ask for volunteers in multiple rounds. If you hold off to the second round they will often double their offer and you can make then make demands like a hotel and booking the next day on first class!

Overbooking is just something airlines do and they all do it! You’re never going to win an argument with a flight attendant and by law YOU MUST OBEY THEM! Anything they tell you, you must comply with and if that means getting off the plane you best do it or they’ll just call the police and drag you off!

stop over selling greedy and switching seats like they did isn't an excuse for their seats to be given away to stand by passengers if someone isn't using the seat they were using the seats

What I’m curious about is that is it even within the power of the law there to arrest both the wife and father and take away the children to foster care just because they needed to make room for some passengers? I highly doubt it.

I saw Delta strand over 50 people in Minneapolis who didn't speak English and had all missed their overseas connections because of a delay. It was late at night and no one met them at the gate as they had been promised by the flight attendant. The attendant lied to them and dumped them in a deserted terminal in the middle of the night. That's Delta - always has been.

Better understand the situation umm You over booked the flight that THEY paid for and booked traveling around and then YOU threatened to put them in Jail and have THEIR kids out in foster care if THEY didn’t agree to give up THEIR seats! It’s really not hard 🤦‍♀️
