Also a great tip for newbies is if you have a flag up, look at an item you have placed and if it has a little flag symbol on the name, its in the flags vicinity so it wont despawn unless the flags gone

Something I found out not too long ago.. if you level up your soft skill all the way up to the builder side you actually use slightly less resource when building and repairing walls. If you plan out an entire large build cut all the trees down at once and level up your skill before you build and don’t do any actions that will move your skill toward the other side.

How can I remove my gate?

1 year later i finally try to build a base and all my hidden tools get raided the day im ready to do it lol

When it comes to walls despawning after 45 days, will doing stuff like attaching items to the wall (not physically attaching stuff like barbwire but rather placing like nails or planks in the according slots to the wall) reset the timer?

Knowing the exact time of the flag despawning is super helpful. I didn’t know the flag slowly goes down over time

i have a question why is it when i leave my base and i come back with in 30mins or 15mins it despawns my base?

I was trying to make a base and all I needed was a shovel and wire but i didn’t know that u can makes barbed wire into wire and I thought u can’t use a farming hoe so thank you!

cant remember my 3 dail code how do i get it off or dismantle wire? i can get in from unfinished back side of base

What is untouched? Like unedited. Or do I simply have to open a gate or walk on a watchtower for it to reset the timer.

Make alts to secure your loot since raiding is way way to easy imo and offline raids are just weak especially with large groups are veterans of the game.

You have no idea how hard I jumped hearing that you can make metal wire from barbed wire I have been STRUGGLING to find some bloody metal wire but have SO MUCH barbed!

Can I build the base of the wall with a hoe? It kinda cut out when you said it but I saw you use it.

If you have a gate right behind another gate, do both gates get damaged when the front gate is shot through or grenaded?

These tips were pretty helpful although I did know pretty much all of them. One thing I think you really need to work on is making more of a distinction between tips. Most of the video felt like one very long Run-on sentence. Slow down a tad when you speak. If the information is valid and you speak clearly you're going to get veiws eventually. Don't try to cram everything into a short as possible video.

What do you mean the fence despawns if not touched, does that mean I have to hit the fence?

I have a combo lock that I put on a gate but I can't interact with it. Any tips for how to remove it? If I dismantle the gate with a hatchet will it fall off?
