Braveheart was attributed to Robert the Bruce. Not William Wallace. In my opinion "Braveheart" did Robert the Bruce a terrible injustice! Portrayed him as a traitor when the title of the film stole his name.

My connection to William Wallace is he’s my 22 nd great Uncle and his brother was Sir John Wallace of Elderslie and my great great grandfather was Malcom Wallace I was elated to see the DNA connection between Wallace relatives and we still carry the giant gene making my descendants carry that tall gene 🧬 wired to know all this long ago relative and the genetic connection is still there.

Very good program but I didn't like the way Robinson dismissed Wallace as a failure at the end because he was anything but, also his theory on Wallace's wife sounding similar to maid marion was ridiculous.

It actually reminds me of the national hero of my country by the name " Gjërgj Kastrioti Skënderbeu " that had similiar story as William Wallace did.
