It is so different to Australia - we are not allowed to do much of anything to a rental ... is the money you paid for the installation of the kitchen something you get taken off the price of the rent or just something you accept as a cost? Can I ask what happens when you move out? DO you have to pay to revert the space again?

For a rental space it’s probably better to use stickers instead of actual tiles for the backsplash.
