In my experience this will deeply where in the world you are going to school. In my country the Dominican Republic, private universities are business orientated, Computer Science would be Engineering in Computer science. That said, now you are referring to this major as an engineering program. Usually, this degree is about 98 to 110 courses longs split into a four-month period. The average student will spend between 6 to 10 years to finish.
During my tenure none of my math teachers were able to explain why we needed so much math. None of our other courses were able to show us where we needed all that math. So, it in the meantime 90% of all the students were doing better in other courses than math. This made for a steady revenue income to the institution because if you retire from the course, you must pay it anyways.
Videolarından çok faydalanıyorum. Cok keyifli ve öğretici, eline sağlık.
ОтветитьI'm not good at intrigration.....and also in calculus...but I want to pursue CS
ОтветитьThanks a lot
ОтветитьViewer discretiom is advised: The content of this video may not be suitable for blacks.
ОтветитьThis was super interesting, I'm learning programming right now and was wondering why there is such complex mathematics covered in CS degrees, your closing statements made all of that make perfect sense!
ОтветитьThe sad part in my life
I study computer science but i dont knowww any shit about math in it and i feel stuck smhw i need help😭
Hey Leo, thank you for your video, I have a question. I graduated college in 2005, I had taken all the way from Calc1,2,3 and diff eq for my physics major, but then I went to medical school afterwards and we don't use any of that there and I have essentially forgotten it all. I am a practicing physician now but I still keenly love CS and I feel like I want to self study AI but the mathematics requirements (discreet math, linear algebra, Calc1/2, Prob/stats) are just seem like tackling a mountain to me since it has been ages since I solved any math problem. I really want to self study it. Which of the math courses should I study or should I just give up on it. It seems like I need all that you have outlined. btw I am 40 yrs old. Thanks for your video
Ответитьwhat I know now ALOT OF MATH LIKE TONS OF IT.
ОтветитьWhy u look like a 3d model 💀
ОтветитьI feel like he is speaking Greek 😏😏
ОтветитьI just changed my mind that I wont be taking up on this filed, because im not sl gold in maths because I dont have much interest.
ОтветитьIs 12th integration required for computer science engineering
ОтветитьHi i dropped math in high school senior year but i want to persuade coding , i have yet to apply in an university as i just completed my A levels , i am willing to learn maths but what should i do about the grades(gradesheet not including maths). I am very confused and need help please answer . Anyone will do
ОтветитьI'm just fucked up with this maths i have already took addmission in computer engineering and I have 0 knowledge in it
ОтветитьIf anyone may suggest one or two good comprehensive textbooks for each topic he mentioned that would be a great help for me as I need to have a solid foundation for mathematics 🤷♂️
ОтветитьMuch more insightful than other sources here on YT.
ОтветитьI only really know a little algebra but I wanted to choose my major in computer science do they teach u calculus and discrete math in the courses or do we have to already know all that before going to college I’m so stressed about this if I should be learning all this stuff now or they gonna go over this in college I know we learned some of it in school but I forgot most of what I learned 😭.
Ответитьwhat is a literature review on the application of engineering mathematics in computer engineering?
Ответитьi suck at maths physics im not taking cse
ОтветитьThis solidified not learning code because fuck math
ОтветитьI didn’t even need to take cal 3 and I took it and loved it, but I’ve struggled to pass discrete maths it almost seems hopeless :/
ОтветитьLogic for me hard ..... I like computer technology .....but math is a real problem
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьALL things in life require a form of 3 Card Monty thinking. The Basics of Math are called Different Things such as -- Axioms, Laws of, Rules for and a whole list of other names. So the most important points about knowing Math -- Math is just words written in another Format of Symbols to describe what is being talked about. To Know Math is to Know How to Think!
ОтветитьThis video cleared my thoughts about maths required in computer science
ОтветитьWhoa! You’ve explained everything so easily. c:
ОтветитьI read somewhere:
"Maths is to CS what notes is to music. You can definitely learn to play music and be pretty good at it without knowing to read notes but you'll never be an actual musician."
You need little to Non for Computer Science. For Electronics you need a little - Complex numbers, matrrixes, a little Differention. Actually dont need that much. You could get away without knowing the math. Then you'll just have to remember the Formulas. If you understand the maths you can derive them.
ОтветитьBesides Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Number Theory (example: Prime Factorization) is important for certain branches of Computer Science such as Cryptology. Number Theory and Graph Theoretic concepts form the basis for Automata and Compilers as well.
ОтветитьI don't like mathematics
ОтветитьI'm poor in mathematics
ОтветитьI'm weak in mathematics
ОтветитьI had phobia in mathematics
ОтветитьI hate mathematics
ОтветитьDon't focus on trying to be dope with that annoying tune that's overpowering your voice. Focus on getting the message out
ОтветитьPerfect
ОтветитьOooi angraaz ki avlad hindi mai bolNa thaa😜
ОтветитьCalculus so freaking hard for me.
ОтветитьThe music is annoying
Ответитьim planning to take cs but idek whats those formulas you show guess i gotta go it then
ОтветитьI'm 17 with dyscalculia...but I want to learn this what to do?
ОтветитьSo basically is most of this don’t by hand and if so would this require all learning of each math todo a specific degree or you only do certain math for a certain degree
ОтветитьWhile in school
HoW tO WrItE iN wOrD
Can you please tell me best books for computer science for someone who is going to uni in few months time?
ОтветитьBro you sound's like morty!~~
Ответитьbro im in 8th grades, and english is my 3 language, and im not that good at math.
but still i want to be a computer scientist
I wish I watched this video earlier lol
ОтветитьBasically you need enough Maths for whatever you're gonna need to do at that particular time...
