generally you don't wanna let your tires spin that much, or at all. that's like a 5-10k mistake for each tire. i've worked on a sand pit before so ain't much wear and tear as a more rough terrain but idk. i guess the more experienced you get you'll be more comfortable using both pedals to utilize all that power without spinning out and bouncing everywhere. also feels heck of alot safer imo. i'm 25 been operating since i was 19, still learn new and better ways to do things all the time. i like to watch videos like this to see other operators techniques in the comments

Just got hired for a backhoe. They got me on a wheel loader at the yard filling up dump trucks. I wish it wasn’t so slow.

When I use to work as a laborer on a construction job they built a temporary raised road out of dirt topped with gravel high enough to back a dump truck against the end of it kinda like a dock where you could dump trash and whatever else into the truck the road was very narrow with very little room on either side they told me to hop on it never drove a wheel loader I found that every time I turned the steering wheel I would get real close to the edge to the point of fearing I would flip the loader because the front-end or back-end tires hung off the side of the rasied road in what was I doing wrong ?

At the very beginning he said always use 3 points of contact with the doors fully locked when climbing into the machine... Then did not use 3 points of contact 😂
