I’ve been practicing tirelessly at least two hours a day minimum to learn guitar for the past year and a half and just not progressing sufficiently. Going back to the basics starting with this video hoping to get somewhere this time around. Super interested in your lessons!
Ответитьis your 7 level system something I can take to the park" or is it online only? thanks!
ОтветитьWhat a great teacher you are step by step 1 to 1 basis thank you for your teaching video

I've enjoyed the lessons but... I checked out the guitar course and was considering for $300, but then noticed it was an extra $100 to pay in 4 monthly installments. To translate thats an interest rate of about 132%. You seem genuine and I don't think its your intention but thats kind of a steep fee to tack on to someone who wants to take the course but doesn't have the $300 to pay upfront.
ОтветитьExcuse me lauren … is there a sequence of lessons here in which I need to follow? So that I am organised lol😊
ОтветитьHey Lauren, is this beginner lesson that different from the other first lesson for beginners, I left my first comment in that lesson?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьGood teacher. How can I join your class or have your contacts?

You are very good teacher. Thank you. I am 64 and my fingers very eat up with arthritis and can really hard to make the chords. Any ideas cuz I love guitar, drums, I am working om the djembe . thak you
ОтветитьHi Lauren. I got back into playing in Jan of 2022. I took 30 years off and I sure regret it now but surprisingly things are coming back faster than I thought considering my age 64 and now retired. I have 3 Ovation acoustics and one Gibson Les Paul. I don't sing, never played in a band and have never been on stage to play. So for me, it's just a hobby a self accomplishment issue. I enjoy it. You're the only instructor I have seen on You Tube that teaches things nice and slow from the start. I have yet to see anyone else. If I was to teach I would be just like you and making sure that people learn things correctly from the beginning. When I self taught myself in 1979 I held the pick wrong with 2 fingers and the thumb and never arched my wrist under the fret board. I have gone back to re-learn some songs that I learned from a teacher back in their 1980's. Black Bird is great and really not that hard to play. As you know you can look up one song on You Tube and you'll find 10 different ways to play it from 10 different teachers. I have seen most of your videos and watched some of them today. Your finger exercises are great and I still practice two that I learned from years ago. I quickly found last year that the better the teacher the faster they teach. They don't go over things thoroughly. They teach at their professional speed which is no good for beginners. So you'll wear out the batteries in your remote rewinding. Classical Gas is a real hand full to learn. I can't thank you enough for your teaching methods. I found you on You Tube by just clicking around. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. I love the one with putting four fingers on the G string and moving them one at a time. The ring finger as you mentioned is tough. Practice makes perfect. Thanks so much for all you do. Rick
ОтветитьI’ve been playing guitar for years but there’s always more to learn. You just showed me in this beginner lesson. I think if a vote was taken of the best acoustic guitar teacher you would be No. 1. Excellent Teaching😊😊😊
ОтветитьCan you show me the second lesson with your hand the 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10....

ОтветитьHello, how about a pink floyd lesson?
wish you we were here
Thanks
ОтветитьI just started watching you and think you are great. I looked for the link for the pdf version request but didn't see it. How do I get it?
ОтветитьI am not a beginner. I have been playing since I was in the U.S Army back in 1975. I played in many bands too. But I still watch ur videos and love ur teaching. I only wish this was around back in the 70's. Would of been so much better at learning guitar. Keep up ur great teaching. Rocky Hamilton, Galveston ,Indiana. U go girl!!
ОтветитьGreat video you rock!!
ОтветитьHello
ОтветитьI wish I'd found you years ago.
ОтветитьAnother great advice video! I have tried over and over and over on the d chord but my dang long big fingers just won't fit correctly on the E and B strings. So, I'm barring or playing the 2 strings with one finger in the 3rd fret and the d chord with just 2 fingers. I've found the sound is very similar at least until I figure out how to fit my fingers correctly.
ОтветитьBravo
ОтветитьYou are such an amazing teacher ❤️
ОтветитьTeam Cap! Miss Bat(e)man! 🦇
ОтветитьI am about to be 54 and have always wanted to learn to play the guitar, so that's what I'm going to do! thanks Lauren
ОтветитьI don't see the pdf excersie link.
ОтветитьFinally I found a teacher of my choice.. lovely
ОтветитьWhat do you slippers look like
ОтветитьI've said it before, Lauren.
I am so much more confident when picking up my guitar. Even when I go back to spider exercises, my fingers still fly around. But, I notice the dexterity improvement and I don't have to stare at the strings ahead of time.
Next step: Close my eyes like YOU and feel the chord changes. 🎸
A dik .

ОтветитьGreat stuff. Nice lesson.
ОтветитьWatching your videos i feel like a rock god already.... You explain it so well & detailed, not like some videos they say look u can play this song, but I'm not telling you the chords first !
ОтветитьI need the soft copy of the exercise
ОтветитьInstead of looking over the guitar, I use a mirror.
Ответить65 here and my wife has just bought me a wonderful sounding Big Baby Taylor acoustic guitar. I’m following your great lessons with glee and sore finger tips ☺️ Many thanks Peter (UK)
ОтветитьNever done this exercise before, that third finger is a killer
