Hi I would definitely say make the vintage long trousered jumpsuit in that fabulous bold pattern it’s so 70’s as is that pattern I think...... it would so suit it ❤️ xx
ОтветитьI love the Coleus fabric and if you could get the long version it would be GREAT.
ОтветитьI think the sorter version ;)
ОтветитьLove the black and white for the Style dress.
ОтветитьI like the first fabric for the long jumpsuit and the second fabric for the long jumpsuit.
ОтветитьLovely plans! Can’t wait to see that rainbow fabric made up 🤩 🌈
ОтветитьThe fabric that you think is 'too much' head to toe is much more in keeping with the vibe of the vintage pattern. Too avoid it being too much why don't you just make the trousers the full length but make the sleeves short length so either skin or a long-sleeved top underneath will work to reduce the impact and balance it. I can actually see that 2nd jumpsuit fabric option as also making a very nice dress using that 1st vintage pattern, and that would free up the black and white sew me sunshine fabric for a Shelby dress/jumpsuit. Now I have introduced more options to confuse things! Just what I do to myself all the time...
ОтветитьThe full length jumpsuit in the first fabric would look awesome on you and for the dress is really like the first fabric.
ОтветитьThe full length jumpsuit would look amazing very 1970s. You are very brave using the vintage patterns. I need all the instructions. Looking forward to seeing the results.
ОтветитьI think a full jumpsuit would look amazing in that fabric and I think it would really suit you. Absolutely love your vintage patterns look forward to seeing your makes sewn up xx
ОтветитьSounds like lots of exciting makes. I think the full jumpsuit would be fab in that fabric. I am particularly looking forward to seeing your Maisie dress as I haven't seen so many of them yet. Hope you can get the chance to finish your daughter's jacket too, what a lovely thing to make for her xx
ОтветитьHi Liz. another fun video. My vote definately goes to the white back floral for the flutter sleeve dress. Gorgeous! I would love to see the short jumpsuit in the blue geometric fabric with the big red flowers. You've done a great job on your husbands shirt. I am just about to tackle my first mens shirt for my husband. TFS
ОтветитьI watched the video and I might have misheard but I thought you said you hadn’t got much time to sew this month! What with work, the family your “to do list” projects was quite a list + your “to finish pieces” where do you get your energy from - or are you a “secret time lord”. Look forward to seeing all your sewing, good luck.
ОтветитьI loved your idea of making the shorts version of the jumpsuit. I think it would look amazing in the red/blue geometric print with red tights! And the full length jumpsuit in the other fabric. Look forward to seeing what you decide to do.
Ответить😃
ОтветитьHaya. Great plans. Definitely sew the long jumpsuit & use the floral fabric you showed 1st as it was those flowers that were all the thing back then, the other leaf fabric I would sew the dress in it. OOHHH loving the stripe fabric :) Thanku for sharing. xx
ОтветитьNo I feel like pattern on the fabric is very vintage and 70s, so it’s on brand. It’s definitely bold but I like it. Full on jump sew for me.
ОтветитьI really like the short version of the jumpsuit - it would be very versatile for layering. I don't think either fabric is too much :)
ОтветитьShort jumpsuit, you need to check the placement of the red flowers.
ОтветитьI really like the first fabric for the long jumpsuit! If you think about it - its' not THAT much more than your Eve dress, which you already love :) Go for it!!
ОтветитьYour plans sound great - and very ambitious for someone with limited time - good luck! I think the black and white fabric will look great for the dress, and definitely the 2nd fabric for the jumpsuit - either version.
ОтветитьThis was so fun to watch and I am inspired ! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьWow you'll be a busy bee! But fabulous xx
ОтветитьI think you should make the jumpsuit in the more tropical print. It will make the finished garment more modern, where as the floral bold is too vintage and may look a bit fancy dress!! That print needs a more modern design in my opinion. All the fabrics are gorgeous x
ОтветитьGood morning. I believe that you should make the jumpsuit out of the floral big print fabric since you already have a dress made out of the other fabric. It will really look good on you. Maybe out the of the extra other fabric you can make a blouse and wear it to one of your leadership days at school with a nice skirts or a nice pair of pants. You do a really good job keeping us entertained and are very informative on the clothes that you sew. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьLovely fabrics
I think that you should do the jumpsuit or make it coulote length
Not shorts with boots it would be a great fall look
I love the idea of jumpsuit for fall
Can't wait to see what you make
Happy sewing
Also just looking at your dress pattern and 2 fabrics
Yours just going to have to make two dresses lol
