That’s a regulator not a pump

That looks like a preasure regulator. Sometimes you can replace the regulator for a lot cheaper than a new pump.

Got an 86 c10 the pump on it does the same thing for a bit if it sits up to long. Most times it pushes air out the system then stops. When its straight stream thats when you worry.

At least we can't say "it ain't got no gas in it"
