Will it delete p252f triton excess oil level injector fault
ОтветитьThis was really funny 😂😂 thank you!
ОтветитьPlease review the $130 Thinkcar Prodiag2. I have the ThinkObd 100 and while it doesnt graph the live stream data is very helpful. It's just a little clunky to use. I'd like to upgrade but I'm just a shade tree mechanic maintaining my own hooptie fleet.
ОтветитьThe top scan Bluetooth dongle has bi directional and it's $80 on Amazon. How does that stack up? Also foxwell makes some scan tablets with bi directional control for 200-300 there just seem to be too many similar options out there and most people want to find the most bang for the buck. HF has Zurich scanners which are basically rebranded Innova but what's the best option under $200? And is the ≤100 top scan a good\pro grade option? Right now I just upgrade from a POS actron orange scanner to the $60 craftsman with live data and battery\charging system testig but I want a bi directional scanner without spending an arm and a leg
Ответитьwhat is a good choice for toyotas
ОтветитьThis scan tool seems to be quite powerful and versatile but what about the launch/foxwell/ottofix bidirectional scanners that are under $500? I bet they can compete in many respects with this scanner.
ОтветитьI love your straight up honesty when you, like me, mess up. I would have done the same thing and started playing with the connections. And probably broken that little connector.
ОтветитьCan anyone enlighten me about how uncommon commands (commands specific to certain make & model) are handled with these bi-directional tools? Do the car's modules present a list of available commands that are displayed on the scan tool so that different cars & modules will yield a different list of available commands, or is the scan tool pre-programmed with a fixed list of commands that various cars may or may not support? For a specific example, I'm looking for a scan tool that can command my Chevy Bolt EV to run the transmission fluid pump manually as part of the drive unit fluid fill process, and so far the scan tools I've looked at don't specifically show that command available for this car. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance!
ОтветитьThank you scanner Danner for your videos I wish you and Eric, the car guy who is doing the scanner together video except for the one at nine years ago. Lol but I love your videos you’re the man.
ОтветитьSee that’s what you get with that Chinese shit you gotta look at pictures lol
ОтветитьThis thing will not connect to my tacoma. Initially it says it connects but when I choose intelligent diagnostics I select the correct model etc and when I try to view health status or anything it says it cant connect
ОтветитьDoes anyone know of any software i can buy for windows that does all this kind of shit?
ОтветитьIm buying one. Im not a mechanic Im an IT network guy. If I were a mechanic id want to be like you. Your troubleshooting skills remind me of myself when working in my field. I haven’t been to a mechanic in over 5 years and ive done a lot of work on my 13’ Tacoma TRd sport. Youre honestly the most humble and passionate mechanic ive ever seen working and your teaching skills and methods are phenomenal. Keep up the good work my brother!
ОтветитьMy neighbor has an 03 GMC Envoy, when we replaced the drivers power window module we discovered it needed to be registered in the BCM can this unit do that? Also, if I replaced an ECM/PCM can this unit program the unit to the car/vin? Are there units available that can do these tasks? Thanks good review. Buying a bi-directional scanner is tough, this one looks interesting.
ОтветитьMy @ $159 Inmova 6100p does Fuel trim graphs.
It's not the greatest in the world but it's better than the ones I used to use and doesn't cost $700
Always a joy to watch mr danner 👍🏻🍻
ОтветитьCan you view the distance or mileage travelled for each module with the TopDon? I know you can with xtool D7 & D8
ОтветитьThanks for the video
Ответитьdoes it have reset functions, like resetting the SAS ? does the live data include transmission data ?
ОтветитьTOPDON IS A GREAT REBRANDED TOOL!!! JUST LIKE THE INFRARED THERMAL IMAGER!!!
ОтветитьI know this was just an introduction and hoping that you have one where you actually used it to diagnose something. I'm looking for an affordable scan tool. I'm just a home garage mechanic working on my own cars but without grown OB2 scanners. Looking for something that's not just going to give me codes but help me identify what part needs to be repaired or replaced but trying to keep an under $1,000
ОтветитьWhat means bidirectional functions ? 🤔
Ответитьawesome video brother, I have a 08 silverado. so I was stoked to see that you have the same truck.
ОтветитьDoes it allow for coding/programming? Secondly, does it cover Saab platform?
I've noticed that the tech 2 is honestly about the only solution for saab, unfortunately and I was hoping that this scanner might be a great solution.
Updates are $545 per year. Crazy. You lose bi-directional capability if you don't update. Might as well use it to hold down the tarps after updates expire!
ОтветитьMechanics 101 read instructions before starting. Class Class class
ОтветитьNowhere in the description does it tell us what model this is.
ОтветитьSnap On will have to compete reasonably $$
Other than that they will go under
How much and a link?
ОтветитьThank you for your teaching spirit and patience in helping educate your viewers. I thoroughly enjoy your content and I’m a ScannerDanner follower and ‘disciple’
ОтветитьI tried to look on topdons website could not find this scan tool. Or the link you have would not work.
ОтветитьThat's not the power to circuit that's the powers of Bluetooth receiver
ОтветитьHave you got the ATS escan elite yet, this is the best engine only scanner.
ОтветитьIt is a compatible for 2003 CL500 Mercedes that has ABC active body control do it do rodeo in calibration
ОтветитьBut that is why the give you instructions so read them and you won't look like tools lol
Ответить"3yr updates, then 99 a yr.". so a update is a subscription to use scanner, and not a software update?
ОтветитьGreat scanner but that's definitely not an inexpensive tool. A 1g tool is not inexpensive when starting out even with it's capabilities. I could be wrong but that's not inexpensive to me
ОтветитьReal mechanics NEVER read instrucción, just try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try uff, then read instruccuins
Ответитьthank you Paul i just got a Phoenix lite 2 and i cant wait to use it i know it has to be better then my other scanner cause it has bi dictionaries i needed this for so long thanks again !
ОтветитьI want to get a bi directional obd but my budget is only about 250 to 350 please help me
Find a decent one for my cars a 2010 Nissan Altima a 04 Chevy Silverado and a 2005 Toyota Corolla Ce please help me Scanner Danner or something somewhat similar dammit I wish I had this one tho but money always be tight just want to grow in my diy mechanic career
What did I tell ya about plugging in cables in the storage port?
Ta not to!
Good stuff Professor.
Happy Motoring.
Really wish these scanner tool videos would mention how they do with SRC and adblue reset as these are the biggest headaches these days
Ответитьsoo its a generic launch tool? this interface is exactly the same as my launch x431. and I mean exactly the same
ОтветитьSo for over $800 you get a tool that can break easy
ОтветитьThe tool you should use is called common sense
ОтветитьYeah you broke the freaking tool before you even use it man what the hell is wrong with you
ОтветитьNo homo but I freaking love you scanner danner you are an amazing funny honest man. It would of been an honor to have been your son. Thank you for everything you have done for the world
Ответить
