Donald Trump brought me here
Ответить"all is good again" xD
ОтветитьThat's a great explanation
ОтветитьStocks tumble further in manic trading as Trump doubles Canada tariffs to 50%
ОтветитьWhy not use realistic numbers so lids can properly understand. This is like math textbooks that day ken has 30000 chocolate chips...
ОтветитьTerrible example completely not true,,,,, was accurate at first but then a total lie,,,,, shallow thinkers do not get it,,,, we could abolish the irs with tariffs but tarries are much harder for politicians to steal from, they like the unaccountably of the IRS
ОтветитьFinally a simpler way tp make us understand the tariffs.
ОтветитьThat was a poor model of how tariffs work. It makes the US look like the bad guy. Other countries already use tariffs against the US right now( they've been doing it for years) and have made trillions of the US. It's a trade imbalance and US consumers are paying for it!
ОтветитьSo Tariffs only work if countries don’t retaliate, which they almost always do
ОтветитьWell
ОтветитьSend this vidéo to Trump
ОтветитьIt's basically a chess game between countries and their manufactures
Ответитьstill dont get it
ОтветитьChina both is and isn’t selling cars in America in this scenario. I don’t understand. Wouldn’t US manufacturers just build plants both in America and abroad? Learning a singular concept when you don’t know the greater context or whatever system dynamics are or aren’t in play… I suppose a little learning just creates more questions than I started with lol
Ответить7 point is not properly described because increased demand of goods in US will not directly let the US companies raise their product prize because the reason US companies increase their products price is because the cost of raw material that US companies are getting from other countries to manufacture products (for example : cars) in US will be higher.
ОтветитьSo what the Times is saying is that China Gooood! USA BAHHHD!!!
ОтветитьSo everything gets more expensive for the citizens and the govts make money
ОтветитьEssentially it forces countries companies and consumers to buy something in order to avoid the extra price tag. But at the same time, deals can be made to build plants and more jobs.
ОтветитьThey had it right until the end. In fact, it encourages more efficient production, not less.
ОтветитьSo everybody loses, got it
Ответитьso.. they don't?
ОтветитьDid Trump make this stupid video?
ОтветитьInteresting. I don't trust anything that Time publishes. They're way too liberal and biased. Therefore, Time can print this out, roll it up into a little point, and stick it in their eye.
ОтветитьSo chinese make cheaper products so instead of reducing price of home made product the solution was to raise chinese product price in order to gain profit domestically? only downside i see is how it will destroy market competition and global trade
ОтветитьBig pay, big sell.
ОтветитьWe gotta get trump voters to watch this video and see what monstrosity they have created
ОтветитьMuch Information is missing from this very short video: the effect of tariffs on inflation throughout the economy, due to the impact of the supply chain and integrated economies, the resulting rise in interest rates in order to combat inflation, the loss of jobs due to layoffs and the resulting rise in unemployment rates and the risk of recession, etc.
ОтветитьLet say that Trump put a tariffs to Chinese product to increase its price inside the USA. The Chinese companies will suffer because it will slows down production because of price concern in the USA. The Chinese government will print out more and give it for free to Chinese companies to sustain their production until their product will get sold out in the USA. Meanwhile in the USA, Trump might planning to give more money to its citizen so that they will able to maintain market growth even thou the prices of their imported products are bit expensive.
ОтветитьWe have tariffs cartoons instead of kids cartoons ha ha. Oh man
ОтветитьOK, so then what is a good alternative we hear a lot about how things the Republicans want to do don't work, but we generally don't hear about how anything the Democrats want to do does work come to think of it we barely ever hear about what they wanna do at allboth parties actually commit this problem of complaining about the other parties policies without offering an alternative
ОтветитьSo essentially if a different country decides to compete and import their own product in our country, we directly tax them more and raise their price higher in our country so our own consumers can just buy directly from us (since we will be cheaper)
ОтветитьTariffs don't help anybody but a select few who are in a position to profit off of it. You know who I'm talking about.
ОтветитьIf us companies are among the richest in the world. Than tariffs will benefit us more I'm assuming. I'm already poorer but I hope these changes will benefit the American people.
ОтветитьWhat people don't realize is that Americans want money they are going to barely undercut the price of everything else, so yes, you'll be buying American, but they will be filling there pockets with more money.😂 this will not help your inflation, and trump is going to blame biden, and y'all that voted for him will believe it.
ОтветитьIndeed. Case closed against tariffs. Everything you need to know in as little as 90 seconds. This will give those who already oppose tariffs more confidence since they’ve had their 90 second training video.
ОтветитьThis doesn’t even begin to explain how tariffs work. This is a terrible example.
ОтветитьYeah this isn't really accurate
ОтветитьSeems this outlet is just purposely making tariffs sound bad to scare people...when we buy American made we are better off and when other countries bring manufacturers here to avoid tariffs that's a positive too...watch other videos that explain tariffs better then this channel.
ОтветитьEither this video just explained tariffs wrong or tariffs will just literally become a weapon to cause more economic inequality not just in america but across the globe. It basically sounds like economic war and the only ones that will benefit are business owners and people that are already wealthy.
ОтветитьSlightly helpful but still ended on a biased note. That much was obvious
Ответитьthanks Time for that valuable share and very clear and simple explanation of the concept;
Trumps talk sounds very much like a ‘racket’ and very gangster;
“Bad associations, spoil useful habits” and gangs tend to be organisations that should best be avoided, unless absolutely necessary;
naturally, there will eventuate, the obligatory ‘gang war’, simply because every modern corporate nation is its own, relatively independent Sovereign state; and the US don’t yet own all the ‘turf’, however they police and control the neutral zones separating each cartel;
“We’re doing this to ‘you’, until ‘you’ give Us what We want, especially all ‘your’ people and stuff”, is Donalds calling card;
and soon “you’ll own nothing and be happy”, New World Order will have been achieved, by economic coupe;
fortunately, We live in the country commonly referred to as New Zealand, which has always been a ‘big hitter’ per capita, on the global scene;
It’s very easy to live here, mostly corruption free, isolated, the people ‘laid back’ and environs, mild and relatively pollution free, with nearly everything a person would need to have a family and livelihood without struggling at all;
Our ancestors, fought Two World Wars and many other conflicts as staunch Allies of our ‘cuzzies’, the Americans; furthermore
as a country, We are well accustomed to being quarantined, ‘locked down’ and isolated from others, especially during the recent spate of ‘pandemics’ under the Ardern Labour Dictatorship, so going without under an apartheid ‘two tier’ enforcement regime and the ‘isolationism’ won’t be anything knew;
and where it’s necessary, We’ll just have to chalk it up to the collateral cost of trading with the enemy;
as always with these things, it’ll come down to choosing between, “the lesser of two evils”, adage;
Would've been a good video before November 2024 but hey you put the idiot on the times cover so you're opps anyway
ОтветитьI just watch CNN news. 01FEB25. The host brought in a tariff "expert". The guy talked for only a couple of minutes and very rarely stated or emphasized the fact that the American consumer ends up paying the tariff.
So the news host attempted to SUMMARIZE this fact ...and the "expert" again, circled the wagon without fully supporting this fact.
It is my opinion, that either the majority of Americans, or perhaps the majority of MAGAS, still think the exporting country pays the tariff.
.
How do tariffs affect US brands manufactured in China? Apple etc?
ОтветитьExcept the US doesn't export anything good haha just consume! That's why they will work
ОтветитьI dont get it so if the counttry is not being taxes why does the price go up
ОтветитьTrump supporters respond with, fake news.
ОтветитьThis video is half truth
ОтветитьThis is an opinion. Tariffs are already on almost everything. "less innovative and less efficient." Shouldn't that already be true since tariffs are already being used on all goods? There is way more to know about the effective use of tariffs. As usual you just want to dumb down your unsuspecting customers/readers.
ОтветитьThis will flood our country with manufacturing jobs. Making it more difficult to buy goods from overseas.
Products like vehicles, building materials, computer chips, appliances, etc we already produce. Since the microchip shortage we have built 4 new mega factories on microchips and other electronics that I know of and helped build. Just one of these factories can fill the demand in America.
The only thing Americans need to worry about is if they use foreign products that aren’t manufactured here. Even Toyota is manufactured in the US. So as far as I can tell only crap goods will get more expensive.
