Not a pro tinter yet but just some input and tip for the peeling of backing sheet. A tiny bit of tape will make your life exponentially easier.

Hi. Do I need to heat shrink when installing a windshield brow/visor?

It's on a honda Civic windshield.

I bet you could use some type of water soluable oil or other solution around the dot matrix that would keep it black.

Is anybody in Stoke on Trent who can put film tint on my motorcycle wind deflector screen. It is plastic and it’s all curved in all ways like right to left and up and down. I’ve tried to do it and the film just has loads of creases in. Please help as I’ve used nearly 6m’s of window tint. Good job it has only cost me £11 from eBay

Great video as pro I still can't snap them pesky blades. I prefer the scaple type of blades. One blade will stay sharp about two weeks especially on films. Great video very patient and clear... I'm going to use them for the trainee's.

About that backing side away. That's when you size the film on the outside of the window. Is that done because it's easier.

My windows have really close rubber around the window and thus I'm not sure I can cut it properly to size from the outside. So if I'm gonna cut to size on the inside, it's the other way around

In the sign business we would mix a couple drops of dawn dish soap and about a tablespoon of alcohol with the water. The alcohol helps the evaporation process.

Happy I clicked on this seeing as literally all the videos I've watched didn't say anything about soapy water. They only say spray water ha. Man that would've been a nightmare.

Hey there. In this course do you teach how to find a place to open a tint business ? My intention is to start mobile and later open a shop . Thanks

If like me, you struggle to seperate the film from the tint, cut two pieces of sellotape and stick one on each side of the tint but dont let the two bits join too much.

Then just gently pull the two bits of tape in opposite directions (Like opening a packet of crisps)

Then it will separate for you .
