Don’t chase happiness. Practice contentment, it takes a lot less effort !

I have been living a quiet life for 4 years without the minimum use of social media.

To have a quiet life is not so much to stay away from the noisy life outside of us. It is to stop the negative self talks in our head, to stop the worries, fear, anger, to stop the preoccupation of ME, MYSELF, MINE AND I. To live a quiet life is to love and accept and forgive ourselves unconditionally. It is to enjoy Grace from God.
Rest, relax, and receive love, grace from God. He created us good.

Being around "drama people" is draining! I love a quiet life!

It's not only social media and people having busy lives because that's the norm of the society we live in today. But also people deal with negative people and people who like to start chaos, that's also part of the world we live in today. This is my opinion and from my experience.

I have the book Quite and I absolutely love this book! In the book, Susan talks about introverts and extroverts. Susan talks about how society loves extroverts.

I love the quiet life. For me when I have a chance, I like to take nature walks and sit down and listen to the quiet. No noise, no running around, just sitting down doing something I enjoy doing or taking a walk. I don't get lonely because I have been around toxic people and I enjoy the break from toxicity and being alone.

Live quiet life. Write books, do public speaking, appear on tv, constantly sell yourself publicly. Got it. lol

Read Genesis. We were created by God. True science is that people and animals reproduce after their own kind. A frog will never give birth to a whale, a crocodile, or a grasshopper. So, a monkey will never reproduce and create a human. This is true science-not science fiction!!!

The Bible has a scripture in it that has been my focus over the last 2 years. "..Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, mind your own business and work with your hands so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anyone."

I am still working on this! But, this scripture has given me "permission," like this person mentioned, to take steps to make my life a little bit quieter.

This is how I have been living my life post COVID. I took all the pain and created something and released it to the world. It has been painful but it’s out.

People who understand and get this are special and unique. The rest of the world are not awake.

Capitalism doesn’t want you to live a quiet non alpha life. Rich people lose when you do that. 😂

Live a peaceful quiet life by driving yourself to create a best seller. Network to get on national TV. Make a huge profit of money on your book. Buy two vacation homes, pay someone to maintain them...then live a peaceful quiet life 🙄

Such a wonderful segment. I need this book! I love tuning into nature, and I spend a lot of time alone, well… taking care of an elderly parent. I often feel sad, and I have grief for my “ small” life. We do live in this “ toxic positivity “ culture, where it doesn’t seem ok to express pain and sadness. * Edit today: After four years, I think (I hope) I have found the right therapist to help me work through some deep (and old) pain! <3*
