10 Things To Know Before Buying The 2023 Hyundai Tucson

Just bought a 2023 Limited. Didn't noticed it during the test drives, but the seats are pretty hard and not really comfortable. Other than that I like everything about it.

What kind of automatic 8-speed transmission is inside?
Is it a classic hydrotransformer gearbox, or a kind of belt variator, or a robo-hydro block that shifts almost manual transmission?

I just got the 2023 Tucson SEL (W/ convenience Pakge) - AND THE SOUND SYSTEM IS THE WORST / CHEAPEST RADIO QUALITY I have EVER HEARD !!!! I LOVE MY MUSIC and this radio was a HUGE LET-DOWN !!! They always show and talk about the BOSE radio in the Top of line trims, well there is NO BOSE system in this trim level. I have to turn the BASS Level down to -9 to make it bearable. It had a tin sound and the Bass levels are SOOOooooo bad !! This radio SUCKS!!! I now have to get an upgraded system

in EU it is sold with 1.6 turbo petrol engine with 180hp.

Does anyone feel the steering wheel is too light to keep the car in the lane while driving above 50 mph? Mine is Limited AWD gas.

DO NOT BUY these degraded trims: XRT, N-Line, Limited, SEL Convenience. These have all disabled Wireless Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay®, probably to promote their own lesser navigation application. The basic rule is: 10.25-inch means BROKEN navigation with disabled Android and Apple. The lowest trims, SE and SEL have small screens and working navigation via wireless integration. There is no excuse for disabling wireless phone integration, or limiting it to only audio and calls. You want good maps? Then buy a different car.

Does anyone faces initial acceleration issues with 2023 Hyundai Tucson SEL AWD ? I just bought few days back and its less than 150 miles, After complete stop when I press the paddle, odometer rpm touches 2-3/rpm and then its runs smooth. Is this normal. FYI i drive in Normal Mode. Should we drive in SMART mode? Appreciate any insights

I owned 2022 Tucson Hybrid "Ultimate" and not happy nor satisfied, a month after I received my Tucson, Hyundai Canada sent me a recall letter called Campaign Service C0448 and the dealer I bought my SUV told me the Hybrid battery is not covered by warranty even though I added extended warranty called "PREMIUM PLUS" that cost me extra $3,759 dollars that did not give me any protection!! so why should I trust Hyundai brand or Korean product?

If it were a 23 hybrid then learn to wait, they're sold before they get on the transporter.

So, what's new for 2023?
